so this tournament is half over and we haven't seen any brackets yet?

Once again the powers that be are doing everything they can to keep fans in the dark. None of this makes any sense, Flo owns Track so why not just use one site for brackets and put somebody in charge who is at least marginally capable?

It's not on flo or track. There is a link above, but here it is again.

Might it have to do with the fact that Flo and track are neither hosting the brackets (something called Smoothcomp?) nor streaming (B1G+) this event?

I can't find what rounds they are doing during each session. Is this evening going to be quarters and semis, or are semis in the morning?

Expand

No clue.  They only list the times of the sessions, without saying what each session contains:

ESPN is able to post lineups and scores from EPL games even though they don't broadcast them. Flo/Track are supposed to be bringing wrestling to the masses and there are a grand total of two college events happening this weekend. All they had to do was call somebody and get the brackets.

if you click on schedule and go to session two it tells you what is happening in that session.  It only takes a little bit of exploring to find the info you want

LOL that is not how Flo and track work.  They are trying to maximize profits.

You are pissing and moaning about Flo to a crowd who will generally pile on.

You don't find it odd that nobody is?

If not, I will help you out:  Flo has nothing to do with streaming nor is track/flo hosting their brackets.

Wrestling(Flo) doesn't have the limitless funds and the Flo name doesn't  carry the level of clout ESPN does.  Meaning coaches and event organizers or more likely to either not answer requests or simply tell them to pound sand when asking about probables and such.

Also it is required in most professional leagues, including the EPL, to report on injuries and such.

At the end of the day, if you are going to hold Flo's coverage of a random (and new) NCAA invite tournament to the ssme standard of ESPN's coverage of the most popular professional league on the planet, in the EPL, then you will always be disappointed.

Yeah it looks like it was not on the actual Soldier Salute website at all (which is strange to me).  It does appear to exist on that bracket site you shared earlier.  I have never heard of that site before so I have no familiarity.  It also doesn't show (as far as I can tell) how each victory was achieved (points, pin, etc).  And when I clicked on one of the videos to see if I could watch a replay, it said it would be available after the tournament at a price of $9,999 😂.  So that website itself is a bit odd.

Appreciate it Jon.  Have you had any luck with mat assignments for the Salute?  I have spent a lot of time navigating that weird bracket site, but I couldn't find it and wanted to make sure I didn't miss the Quarters.

On top of the other issues, smoothcomp refers to the consolation brackets as "repechage".  I thought here in 'Merica we call them wrestle-backs or consolations.

I had the same problem, but if you hover over the bout it will tell you how to result happened.

What a mess.  It would be silly to have readable brackets.  😞

It's amazing that there are so many examples of perfectly adequate bracket websites.. and this is the format they decided on..

you can see the results on the browser on a laptop by hovering over the match in the brackets.

YOu can asle see mat assignments by going to bouts > current bouts and then selecting session 2

No luck - have to type out all of the results too so that's been fun!

This actually made me wonder if they were doing the repechage method where you have to monitor the results of the guy who defeated you

When you go to the link for the Soldier Salute, they have the days wrong.....it's not Friday  the 30th/Sat the 31st.  SMH  This is terrible, both the Midlands and SS......you've got cameras on most of the mats, you've got quadpad if you use it, but you have to guess who's on what mat, there is not dashboard, brackets.  I'll just stop right there......
