Is anyone surprised.     The Brand brothers have been protecting Nelson since he got on campus.   Oh right he has a dad and Uncle as coaches but he didn’t no gambling was illegal.

The rest of team wants him to just move on.

I'm not saying you are incorrect... but Gable made it sound like it would probably be "duals only" when interviewed on the Bader show.  Obviously stuff can change.

Maybe the headline “Gophers sending all 10, or 9 rather without Gable” didn’t sit well with him.

Yeah, that word "scheduled" is doing some work in that sentence.

It's kind of sad that Gable was willing to come back for presumably a significant amount of money, but he doesn't care enough to wrestle more than basically the bare minimum.

Edit: fix a typo.

But is it true they've asked AJ to sing the national anthem while doing the splits?  🏎

Presumably is the key word I think. His deal is a mystery. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took schedule flexibility over cash. He might still be training with Jon Jones when he’s not with the Gophers, who knows.

Why is it sad that a recent college graduate is maximizing their financial prospects? Were you going to work pro bono this week?

I'm pretty sure BrucyB is lamenting his perception that Gable doesnt act out a lot of gratitude for his privileged position within the sport.

Hammerlock's not wrong. But what I really meant is that it's a shame that Gable has such an absurd gift of athleticism and wrestling ability but doesn't seem to have a genuine passion for the sport at this point. No one with a deep-driven passion would voluntarily leave their sport voluntarily for the last past 4 World/Olympic championships.

Is it a shame for Steveson, or is it a shame for you? He is his own person who has given decades to the sport beginning global travel and a singular focus beginning as a young child at the sacrifice of other arenas of his life and owes nothing.

People display their jealousy and envy in the ugliest ways.
