  1. 1. Who wins assuming Haines and O'Toole wrestling? I don't want to hear your nonsense after.

    • Haines
      49
    • O'toole

When Dake jumped to 165, even the Cornell faithful didn’t think he’d hang with DT. Not saying Haines and O’Toole are at that level, but you sometimes just don’t know until you see it on the mat.

It is easy to say Haines, since what he did in Free. However, O’Toole is a better Folk than Free wrestler. I know I want to see it, no matter what!

It is the third match of the day. Do all starters wrestle all three matches?

I would hope so. The first two matchups aren't exactly going to be tough for Haines and O'Toole. And with Penn State's ability to make adjustments after seeing a matchup, and how well Keegan was able to make adjustments after his first meeting with Carr, I think both parties would view getting to see the match as their own advantage for NCAAs.

I'd be curious if Flo put out a poll on social media what the result would be. The input of a wider variety of casual to serious fans would be interesting.

The casual fan poll would probably go to Haines due to the bandwagon PSU fan factor

almost posted exactly the same...if O'Toole wins last year likely not the case but obviously he didn't.

Haines is the smaller guy. He moved up from 157 and Otoole has been at 174 for years.

They're both coming up weights. But Haines looked bigger in their freestyle bout and has the frame to fill out even more.

I understand the reasoning behind thinking it's O'toole, but Levi sure looked like he had the horsepower advantage and that should only grow as he bulks up.

It's wild that O'Toole and Hamiti each have 100 matches and both were at 165 the last three years and they haven't wrestled each other.

Hamiti could make things interesting come March.......new weight class, David Taylor, not to mention he was up 9-2 on Mesenbrink at Big 10's..........

They wrestled at the All-Star a 2 or 3 years ago. Keegan really controlled the entire match IIRC. But that match was years ago, so I completely agree he could make things interesting.
