of being distasteful to New York democrats.  Nothing more.  Paraphrasing the jury instructions, "If you are not sure of the crime - because we literally made it up - but don't like him anyway then he's guilty."

Let's consider other people who were convicted by "juries of their peers" or the equivalent in history yet seemed to be deemed able to lead a country (or more) by those paying attention:

Nelson Mandela

George Washington et al

William Wallace

Jesus Christ

The only jury that matters - the American Electorate - disregarded that farce for what it was and returned a verdict of duck you to the New York DA, judge, and jury.  In other words, "OVER RULED".

P.S.  Before anyone gets the vapors; I am not comparing Trump with any of these individuals.  I am debunking the concept that a conviction by a corrupt process says anything about the character of the "convicted".

I think we will find that if this case is not dismissed by Judge Merchan, then a appellate court in NY will throw it out for speciousness.  Which is what we have been saying all along.   You can't have a felony conviction if you don't even have an indictment of specific charges.   The specific charges in the indictment that Bragg brought was "other crimes".   I have detailed this a number of times.   Can you be a little more specific Bragg?   Even the judge at the end in the instructions to the jury said you can find he is guilty of 3 different crimes.   You don't have to be unanimous on the specific crime, just be unanimous that he is guilty of something and that is good enough.  You just don't have this in a felony case or any other case for that matter unless the defendant is Donald Trump.

In fact the case where he was found liable for sexual misconduct, the lady couldn't even remember when the alleged misconduct took place.   But in Trump's case, that is enough to have a court case and find him liable.   That one will also be thrown out I believe.

And then there is the no crime case that was brought against Trump and he now owes 450 million dollars to NY.   No one was harmed, everyone was paid what was owed, and there was not victim.   But none of that matters as long as the defendant is Donald Trump.

I have to say if they went after Biden like this I would laugh but know that it was a farce.    You guys on the left can't even go there.   Blinders on.   Rational thought eviscerated.   Mindless sheep.  It is a sad state to be in for sure

It’s a clear distinction like calling someone a genuine asshole. They should’ve got it done before the election though to clear the path for Kamala.

Stupid. People claimed the same thing the first time they saw Trump drink water from a crystal cocktail glass. Then they learned Trump never touches the stuff.

Well this definitely water.  And Trump wasn’t an admitted alcoholic

You don’t think it’d be a concern if the guy in charge of our military is an alcoholic?

If you think there’s greater than about a 10% chance that what Hegseth was drinking wasn’t alcohol, then I sincerely hope you weren’t among the folks that claimed Paul Pelosi was drinking “a cocktail” when he was attacked…

I think there would have been the same uproar if a Biden appointee appeared to be drinking bourbon during a press conference.
