He's got ungodly strength at 125...both parents were Olympic level judokas (great base for MMA).  He's shown a mean streak (see match vs Ayala).  He's got the big name recognition, more so than Bo Nickal who has been hyped to the gills by UFC.

How do you think Spencer does as a UFC bantamweight?

He'll blow his knee out.

Also, he doesn't have any more name recognition than Bo did outside of the wrestling world, and at this point, much less name recognition in the MMA world.

I’m likely naive —- but on the arm bar question …. Seems like a place to make someone tap - turn into chicken wing, go hard against the shoulder joint.  Dislocate shoulder or get a tap?

Never seen it in MMA.  Could it work?

You've got someone's back, you may as well try for an RNC.  But I've seen twisting hammerlocks.

Chicken wings rely on the person trying not to go to their back

Yea, I ended up thinking about that. Wondered about the application, can rest low and apply, but figure person will still find a way to roll over.   Good point.

Nickal , Nolf, Lee 28 match avg. over five years.
