The Jackrabbits are known for peaking later in the year. I expect they'll be fine come tournament time.

Of course! 😏

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Good to see Minny back with a lot of top 10 guys. Hit hard by the portal, but here they are. Is Millard going to redshirt? He has taken it to the next level.

Except they are on the receiving end with Seibrecht and Glazier.

Who did they lose? Gained Julian Tagg too. Managed to keep Devos and Berge, who I’m sure got plenty of calls to jump ship.

I appreciate the sentiment brother! Gophers are looking tough. Outside of probably 149, they have someone that could AA at every weight class.

Arizona State this year is probably in the conversation

Minnesota lost Spratley, Nagao, and Jamison in one offseason but filled in very well with Flynn, Wells, and Vombaur.  2 of the 3 which are currently ranked higher than the departed at their respective weights.

Biggest difference between what happened to ASU and what happened to the gophers imo is the guys ASU lost are all on their last year of competition. So while it obviously has a huge impact on this season it shouldn’t change a lot of long term plans, they should have already been looking at replacements.

When the gophers lost Spratley, Nagao and Jamison they each had 3+ years left and the gophers were left scrambling, not just for the year it happened but also the 3 years following. That’s much more impactful and worse imo.

Also, it didn’t just “happen” to the gophers, they did not do enough to keep those guys around and should have, but I love the lessons learned and the way they rebounded.
