The last I heard, his accuser was in prison for attempted blackmail.  And the DoG dropped their investigation and declined to bring charges.

Don't let those pesky details and facts get in the way of a good narrative to support your political ideology...making up damning things about people is way more fun.

Would republican comgressmen  (notice that’s plural) stating how he was showing them video of sex with younger girls and talking about how he would crush ED meds and energy drinks so he could…..last…..be considered credible?

Don't see why.  If congressmen & women (notice plural both parties & genders) had credible evidence they should have removed him from congress.

Well, there was an ongoing process, related to just that, that by law automatically ceases once he resigned from congress.  🤔

But I’m sure if we were talking about Hunter and democrat congressmen…you’d have the exact same feeling 😂

"The sequence and timing of Mr. Gaetz's resignation from the House raises serious questions about the contents of the House Ethics Committee report," Durbin said in a statement Thursday. "We cannot allow this valuable information from a bipartisan investigation to be hidden from the American people. Make no mistake: this information could be relevant to the question of Mr. Gaetz's confirmation as the next attorney general of the United States and our constitutional responsibility of advice and consent."

Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas told reporters Thursday morning he "absolutely" wants to see the House Ethics Committee's report on Gaetz.

"I think there should not be any limitation on the Senate Judiciary Committee's investigation, including whatever the House Ethics Committee has generated," he said. The Senate Judiciary Committee, which will be chaired by a Republican when the new Congress is seated in January, will conduct confirmation hearings for the nominee for attorney general.

It was a vote as to whether or not to release the report on Friday, not that it would be released on Friday.  What if that vote was to not release it?  Does anybody believe that if it was detrimental to his appointment that at least the detrimental parts won’t be leaked?  With all those staffers involved?

Release the report.   Gaetz needs to go through the same hellish nightmare confirmation hearing as all the rest will.   If he did nothing wrong, that should be in the report.

Matt unfortunately looks like a sleezy car salesman, making anything good a surprise.

Is it true Matt's grandfather may have sold @MPhillips the Pinto station wagon?

Can’t be any worse than the Kavanaugh hellish nightmare.

His accuser is a woman who testified before the House Ethics Committee. She was 17 when Gaetz had sex with her, per her attorney.

I believe you are mistaken, at least on the term.  What is she accusing him of?  It was my understanding that she was a witness and had not accused him of anything.  Had she, the local police would have investigated.  The DoJ investigated and declined to charge him with anything.

You think the FBI wouldn’t jump at an opportunity to get Matt Gaetz?
