I wondered about that, too.

I dug around a bit (not too hard) and was only able to find out that her mother of German descent, born in Indiana and grew up in Michigan. While her father is of Samoan and European ancestry.

Seems like something roughly like 75% European ancestry - which I guess I would consider white. But I could be wrong.

(Again, that's based on what limited information I was able to find. Certainly nothing definitive.)

So you get to determine what race someone is? We are talking % of race to determine if someone is actually a minority?   You get to determine is someone is white?  Black?  Asian?  Sounds like something out of 1935 Germany.
