I think the only one who repeats is Snyder. Are we sure Spencer Lee wants to continue wrestling?

Imo Spencer will want to continue, the question is whether his body agrees.

72Kg bronze medal match, USA's Welker vs Anghel of Roumania...

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Point for Welker... up 3-0.

We're at the break.

I would not be at all surprised if AB takes snyders spot at 97 for 2028 I don't see him descending to 86 if he fills out into 92kg.

Sadulaev Slide by go behind off of Ghas forward pressure hands in the face, then Ghas stood up before Sadulaev had the takedown and Sadulaev took him straight back exposing him for 4 to win

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this but yeah, Ghasempour had the match sealed and it looked like he just decided to stop wrestling with 7 seconds left on the clock. That after holding his positions and not giving up an inch of mat throughout the match. Like what the hell.

Which NCAA event streaming on Flo are you most looking forward to this season?

This week anyway.

Nov. 1st

VT / Chatt & Ind. / Cal Bap

Nov. 2nd

Mizz / N. Colo.

Iowa / ORST

Nov. 3rd

Clarion Open(#5 Ohio State, #7 Michigan, Pittsburgh, Kent State, Navy, Edinboro, Gardner-Webb, Bellarmine, Buffalo, Bloomsburg, and Clarion).

Ind. / Cal Poly

But I'm a wrestling fan.  I can see how it wouldn't be worth it if you aren't...:classic_dry:

The Turkish fella Duman lost to Zane richards at the Zegreb in January this year. Pretty incredible run from him.

He's getting executed tomorrow, lol. I wonder what the Turkish coaches even tell him.

Definitely did a good job making the best of a fortunate draw, though.

"don't let him get to his hooks, but also don't shoot on him because he will go miss direction and re-attack you. Also keep your feet back or he will pick you. Oh and no short offense because his chest wrap is insane."

Where and when tomorrow is JB leaving his shoes?  Is he gonna run out in between bouts?  I've only seen wrestlers take their shoes off at the conclusion of a match they wrestled in.

Ahh crap already forgot he dropped in the quarters not the semis. Welp, I guess it's at WTT or worlds next year. Love me some JB but his (earned) hubris demands a standing O.

Lol you listed every match they're streaming this week.  I don't really think any of those are their best events, but if they do it for you then it might be worth $30/month.  Their best NCAA event in my opinion is CKLV.  Their other major tournaments are the Southern Scuffle and the EIWA tournament.  But the EIWA tournament without the Ivies only features one top 25 team and could be the 5th or 6th most compelling tournament that weekend.  Their only duals featuring two top ten dual teams come courtesy of #10 Northern Iowa.

  • #3 Nebraska at #10 Northern Iowa
  • #4  OSU at #10 Northern Iowa
  • #7 ISU at #10 Northern Iowa

Those are good events, but probably not in the ten best duals of the season.  For Flo's college coverage to move the needle you either have to be an EIWA, Pac-12 or PSAC fan, and after conference realignment there are fewer of those than ever before, or follow a lower division.  For everyone else Flo's NCAA coverage will be decidedly third rate far behind ESPN/ESPN+ and BTN/BTN+ and just ahead of Rokfin and UFC fight pass.

Tomorrow's (Halloween) schedule according to FLO.  Vito goes for bronze, and DT in repechage.  It is likely the last time we see Taylor in competition.  Hopefully, he makes it through to the medal match with Iran.  I wonder if he leaves his shoes on the mat ... or if that is done at International competitions.  Seems like it might be more of an American ritual, but I'm not certain.

Thursday, October 31

11:00 am - 12:30 am - Men's Freestyle Repechage

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Men's Freestyle Medal Rounds

You asked. I answered. There was no mention of the, "best" of anything. I'm quite aware of what other options there are for college wrestling. I subscribe to them.

You're being obtuse for no other reason than to be obtuse...:classic_dry:

Obtuse? lol.  I asked you what NCAA wrestling event being streamed by Flo  this season you are _most_ looking forward to watching?  You then answered with every dual Flo has on the schedule this week. As if you are planning to watch every one and can't pick between them.

My overall point is that Flo's NCAA wrestling offerings are 3rd rate and a poor value. I thought by asking you that question you'd figure it out for yourself.  Apparently you got derailed when you couldn't figure out if you're more jazzed to watch Iowa wrestle Oregon State or Indiana take on Cal Poly.
