Director of the Secret Service (Cheatle) just said in interview. Roof was too steep, so decision was made to only secure the inside of the building.

For safety reasons ( because the roof was to steep) the decision was made to only secure the inside of the building. Who actually made that decision?

What believe I heard her say was didn't put someone up there because it was a sloped roof.  Now that prob sounds worse but was prob taken out of context.  Guessing she was indicating they made decision to not put local police up there cause sloped roof and they wouldn't be able to walk around and protect the area from up there.  Doesn't change that they should've had eyes on the roof and any access to the roof.

Ever notice how so many of the diversity casts in movies and show can't act at all?

I really think the marxist undertones within DEI coerce the people doing to the hiring to look for incompetence in addition to diversity. These people are that stupid.

Cheatle is gaslighting.  Compare the roof the shooter was on to the one the counter-snipers are on.

The counter-snipers are on a steeper roof.

Link to any video where this was actually discussed as actual factual evidence instead of the usual BS from Offthemat and that basket of imbeciles?

There hasn't been one posted on this thread yet - just the usual BS.

And, don't forget.

  • The outside-the-fence area was the responsibility of the local police (on the left)
  • The inside-the-fence area was the responsibility of the SS (on the right)
  • These are two different areas of security responsibility

I've posted often that something stinks here.

But to see folks trying to blame the SS Director. That's lazy garbage given the circumstances.

It's starting to stink even more now.

Man...you start with a doozy of a first sentence...and then make statements devoid of any actual factual evidence...aka...the SS Director said the SS bare full responsibility, which means her.  SMH

They've shown her saying that on every news channel multiple times. It's on you tube several times.

And she's also said in those interviews that the buck stops with her so ...  But maybe we should wait to see if KJP calls these interviews "cheap fakes."  🤔

The entire area is the responsibility of the secret service, parts of which are delegated to FBI and lower levels of law enforcement.

Not to mention, it appears SS had eyes on shooter for a long time, yet local law enforcement was the only to attempt to engage before he started shooting…

This ^

The protection of a President or candidate for President rests solely on the Secret Service, period.    They should have had all roof tops within sight of the stage protected period.

She certainly needs to answer to this.....a lot.  But she said she is complying with the subpoena, in the proper forumn.  They are acting like paparazzi, not US Senators.

The answer should be the same either place, but rumblings are that Mayorkas is trying to block the subpoena and she’s being told to keep her mouth shut.

All well and good, but has nothing to do with US Senators acting like circus clowns.  At some point in time, and you would think the events of the past weekend would have been a good light bulb moment, our leaders, on both sides of the aisle, need to start behaving with leadership.
