It's possible we see a whole slew of elite guys go out this cycle:

JB

Cox

DT?

Adeline Gray?

Who else? Jacarra W?  Coon?

Don't count them out however before the fat referee sings (whistles)

And Downey

I stepped away from the computer to burn an Iowa singlet. Who is possibly injured? Yazdani or Brooks?

Don't count them out until the fat referee scores the same sequence as a pushout, then as a 4, and then just empties his bag of penalty points all over the final minute

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dake might retire after the Olympics, he’s made it sound like that’s been plan in the past and I always figured this was it for DT , he owns like 3 businesses lives on a farm and has talked about motivation problems since he won in 2021

Lee has no answer for zain

Further away from the weight cut, zain is looking a solid 5 lbs bigger than the last match

Did they just manufacture that nonsense about retherford joining a finance company so he could take a payday and they could get free advertising?

Meanwhile... Ellis Coleman won the 2nd bout over Alejandro Sancho.

Who could forget this move from EC...

I get the sentiment but he just won the last two matches against a multiple world medalist but scoring in bunches in the 2nd period. It’s a bit of an over exaggeration how bad his tank is. He’s healthy enough to train cardio now finally.

Exactly.  Gilman is the best wrestler Spencer has ever wrestled.  Gilman is known for his tank.  Spencer got the points (in bunches) when needed.  Yes, he looks tired, but so does Dake.  The key is to score when tired, which he did on a sweaty, cardio machine world champ.

I am super happy to see him be able to function this close to weigh ins.  Hoping for the best in Paris.

He looks much better at this weight than the last olympic cycle.  He has energy, he's on his game, he doesn't look like he hates the process.

That's typically only necessary if they have not yet met during the tourney.  If MM wins over Jacques, there is no need.

Good.  A National Team without JB doesn't seem right.

My confidence is up for qualifying 57 and 65.

Lee & Retherford will have to get it done to qualify 57 & 65 for Paris.

Pray hard...

Agreed. Was hoping the torch would be passed last night at 65, but Zain looks as good as we could hope at the weight right now
