So guys... hear me out... Braeden Davis is now the only undefeated D1 starter at 125lbs.

American's Maida lost via Tech to Cambell's Molton today.

Difficult to win the title when you don't even start for your team

But not impossible?

He is undefeated, he has one win over a former AA (Brandon Kaylor) and two wins over ranked NQ level guys (Lujan and Berginc).  Last year, while he was still in high school, he defeated 24 year old 4X DII All American Cole Laya.  I'd like to see him go through a few more ranked matches, but he's excellent and they should remove his redshirt without a second thought

Umm, because he can beat at least half the other guys?

Doubt it.   His only good win is Terukina, and he has already lost to another team's backup this season whose starter isn't on the list, as well as another guy not on the list who has 6 losses.

How did Diakomihalis make the list?

It’s just a list I quickly threw together. Don’t read anything into it.

I think the question had more to do with having two Cornell guys on the list.

No Fix or Vito?  Heard they might be running from Crooham.

Both have already ducked Crookham. Fix in December, Vito this past weekend.

fairly obvious vito is hurt, unless you think they held him out for a month because they wanted to duck a guy they needed to avenge a loss against.....

Well ok but I was talking about Crooham ... that kid that Wkn is really high on.  🙂

Ramos is the obvious choice.  Last year's runner-up who has shown that he can win BIG matches.

A few head scratching losses along the way shows that he is not a dominant favorite. But this does happen all the time to eventual champs.

More than 14 wrestlers with votes at this point. Amazing weight this year.

Plus 12 “other” votes

Ayala in the lead with 15 votes, followed by Ramos with 10 and Davis with 9.  Noto a distant fourth with 5

Ayala's one loss is to my one vote.
