In parts of cook where I used to live I had to buy $5 stickers per “eco recycle” load or they wouldn’t take them away to toss them in the same bin

Basically, all of them. At the time, COVID was a major concern and we couldn't tell for sure how bad it would be but many people were dying. And wearing masks does slow down the viruses; nobody claimed it stops it 100%, so you have straw men in there on top of all your other crap. #1 is also a 110% strawman. Nobody said otherwise.
