I know. And what was your point?

Initially you were very unclear as to who you were talking about. You mentioned Gable before misspelling Uetake.

How do people keep making these lists and put Burroughs anywhere near the top 10? This IS for ncaa wrestling right?

DNP-3-1-1 is statistically beaten by more than 10 folks since 1973. International credentials really shouldn’t be taken into account IMO unless they were earned while in college.

It’s ChatGPT, this is not exactly any type of AI expert in niche sports compilation.

Thirty two spots behind Robles...

As a person who created an artificial intelligence algorithm with, admittedly, a very different purpose in grad school, I have to say that it's completely beholden to the biases and interests of the creator of the algorithm.

I'm wondering if the list is basically weighting internet searches, programs, etc. I could see how a single time AA from Iowa could have far more searches than a single time NCAA champ, multi-time AA from a MAC school.

I know and like Derek Moore and Aaron Pico, but any "list" that identifies Moore and Pico above Stephen Abas as a "top NCAA folkstyle wrestler" should be shit-canned (or PortaJohned?) without further ado.

There's others on this, but that's really bad...

Maybe ChatGPT's AI is optimized to create controversial hot takes as click bait.  That, and little else, would make perfect sense to me as far as its list making goes.

Cinnabon may be out of a job soon.

The funny part of this is that my bet, that once again, this is exactly what the tasty pastry was looking for when he made the thread.  People are arguing about chatbots and a chatbot's ranking of college wrestlers....you can't make this stuff up...

By the way @LJB posts always crack me up for some reason!!

Only posting cause re phrasing the question to gpt will get u dramatically different and even inaccurate answers.   Like why is d gable on it…..

Wow.  In another "X" years, we can debate which are the top ten chatbots that do the best job of ranking NCAA wrestlers over the last 50 years.  What a thing to look forward to, huh?
I should say you guys can debate...   By then, my clicker may be 6 ft under.

BTW, I've yet to see one of those chatbots that I'd rate as anything but worthless.

These ChatGPT things always crack me up, but I absolutely love them.

We tested it at work with an options strategy that is fairly common. It got it hilariously, but very confidently, wrong.

The wrong with high confidence schtick will play well here
