Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Sparks still eating that 10,000 calories/day comment. He mentioned earlier that Hillger said the toughest part was waking up in the middle of the night to eat. Is he really not in on the joke?

Why doesn't Kerk cut Nevills and work for the tech?

That was odd.  12 point win where he spent 3 minutes on top doing nothing when he could have easily gotten the tech on his feet.

Announcers say you don't want to go upper body with Schultz.

So, you're gonna try to haul one of those ham hocks in?

Jordan Woods tried and exhibited one of the greatest feats of strength I have ever seen. And Schultz still got the two.

While I’d normally be upset with Kerk for not picking up the tech, that was a super low effort bonus point win for him. It’s a long tournament. No need to put himself in any more-dangerous positions when he can just ride Nevills out.

Checking out for the evening boys.  I'll probably miss the quarterfinals, but I'm hopeful I'll be able to watch the semifinals on the plane ride back to FL from NY (it's a one stopper, shouldn't have let the wife book).

Hillger appears to beat Slava by inj dft? Didn't hear the call on matcast

1-0.  Weird, Slava down 1-0 takes neutral in the third and then doesn’t shoot until :10 remaining.

Craig Henning got screwed in the 2007 NCAA Finals.

Kennedy and Amine should be a good one. Up now on Mat 5.

Good one to take a nap through and not risk missing any action.

Amazing... that still bogles my mind. (Soooo close,  and then Schultz stomps on that cigar. Sorry Jordan.)

Mizzou looking good so far. Sole possession of 3rd and 6 in the qtrs.  3 in cons and only one completely out.  It's early though.  Lots of wrestling to come.  Go Mizzou!
