Huge Mizzou fan and super excited for this matchup. As far as I know, both guys are healthy and I (maybe naively) don't think either coach will duck here. If O'Toole doesn't take the mat, I'll be one of the first ones here to bash coach Smith, but I don't see that happening.

I refuse to vote for a duck because I want to think we can have nice things.

I think a duck is quite possible. They'll meet each other again in a few weeks at Big 12s.  One wrestler could go into NCAA seedings with 2 losses rather than 1

I think the guy who'd benefit most from Wrestling multiple times would be Carr. I don't see HIM ducking.

O'Toole is the defending Champ...not exactly lacking for confidence. Hard to envision him dropping.

I'd really hope neither would duck, but we'll see.

if someone ducks, it's going to be o'toole. carr has been hyping the match on twitter. i'm guessing they wrestle though.

Both Keegan and Mizzou have been hyping the match since this past weekend on instagram.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend so I just transferred my tickets to my Aunt who lives just outside of Columbia.  No idea why they have this dual on an evening week night.  Sucks for us that have a 2 hour drive, and many longer.

This used to be the night before the state wrestling tournament in Columbia, so a lot of the wrestlers and fans in town would head over and watch.  The state tournament changed to Wednesday through Saturday of next week though.  I assume Mizzou's schedule was already set, or they didn't want to move the dual closer to Big 12's.

Come to think of it. When's the last time two National Champs wrestled head to head during the regular season?  Last I can remember was Dake Taylor at the Southern Scuffle

I take it you don’t count the “All-Star classic”?

Not counting that as "regular season" nor counting Imar vs Cenzo or Imar vs Nolf regular season when neither Nolf nor Cenzo won a Natty yet.

2018 Bo Nickal v Myles Martin is the most recent I can recall.
