forkemaz Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Greco has been a hot topic lately and to be honest, I like many others, simply dont enjoy watching it. Currently I am with the allow trips crowd. BUT! Thats now what this thread is about! Im asking the Greco heads What are some all time greco matches we can watch on youtube? Ones that are exciting or one's that just really show off what Greco is capable of/all about.

I remember throwing a guy to his back with a head and arm to get into the 3rd place match at Jr. Nationals (Uni-Dome days). He was flat on his back for 10 seconds and then they stood us back up citing leg foul. I went on to lose the match. I watched it back 10 years later and with the way the rules had changed it would not have been called a foul. A lot more leg bumping allowed. For whatever reason, I'm with you. 1

So far we have two matches. And admittedly ive watched one. Ill watch the other in a bit. I dont want to start throwing stones and I certainly dont have the knowledge to list the matches myself but if we cant get a few matches mentioned thats quite the indictment on Greco. Id think @LJB would appreciate a different avenue to defend Greco.

Im slowly watching them. The point of the thread was the opposite of a gotcha. People keep dissing greco I thought maybe we could get some knowledgeable greco heads to give us something to praise.
