Yeah we have ZERO information about whether it even was a fight. Make note of the fact that its assault and not assault and battery. that means the person on the other may not have even been harmed. Obviously they're not going to be putting out a public plea for help like that otherwise. It's criminal law not civil law (with the common law distinction between assault and battery) and a quick Google search suggests there is no separate crime of battery in PA, consistent with most if not all of its surrounding states. Thus the description could encompass serious injuries depending on the grade of the assault offense. 1
