I keep trying to find a podcast better than CP, and maybe Willy and Basch are marginally better, but I'm really willing to try someone else. I agree with just about everything you said here. I wholeheartedly disagree about Willy and Basch being in the same conversation as FRL though. I'll only listen to Willy and Basch when I've literally run out of every other podcast I can tolerate. Basch is such an over the top homer it's unbearable whenever something PSU related comes up, which is obviously a LOT. He talks about PSU success like it brings him personal pride. And he constantly reminds the audience that PSU is full of his "friends" and clients. He's also just whiny and uses a whiny tone when he talks about things he's not a fan of, which isn't that big of a deal, but it would be a better listen if he could just make a coherent argument in a normal tone for why something doesn't make sense to him. Willy will probably read this, and that's fine, but he's the least likable person I've come across in the wrestling industry. I respect his hustle, dedication, and love for the sport of wrestling but he's just an arrogant prick. He obviously knows a lot about wrestling and has inside information, but he is completely condescending and insulting to fans that have less informed opinions. He routinely says things like "a lot of people are saying x, but they're all just idiots who don't know what they're talking about." Compare that with someone like Kozak who would say something like, "most people would probably pick x to win this match, but they probably aren't following the overseas stuff as much and haven't seen that x has taken some pretty bad losses this year." It's not that hard to say that a lot of people aren't well informed without being an a-hole. I constantly get the vibe from Willy that he's haunted everyday by blowing the opportunity to be the face of Flowrestling and therefore the face of all wrestling media. However, he routinely makes me grateful that he's f'd it up because I will take CP every day of the week and twice on Sunday over the condescending and disrespectful Saylor. CP acts grateful and appreciative of the fact that he gets to work his dream job covering the sport of wrestling and talking about it for a living, while Willie on Basch and the Brain is full of sour grapes and is bitter that guys he views as below him are more in the public eye of wrestling at Flo than he is. Last thing I'll say is that I also want to make it clear that I don't dislike Willy as a person. I think he has a lot of good insight and I appreciate hearing what he has to say about things going on in the sport and will listen to Basch and the Brain in spite of my above complaints because I do appreciate his knowledge and insight. If he could clean up his act and be remotely professional, I think it would go a long way. He's a fountain of information and he's not doing himself any favors by talking down to his listeners who are there to hear from him. 2

Or maybe they’ve just rebranded since I watched last? I enjoyed their shows
