 UVU

I would watch every episode of Focus at mormon school documentary. The moment he discovers soaking with a future trad-wife would be peak entertainment.

Not sure if it still holds true, but American used to accept something like 90% of all transfers because of that sweet, sweet private tuition rate. It's somehow simultaneously a very good school with high rankings for communications, polisci, and public affairs but is also a joke of a degree mill for anything else.

Lehigh wouldn't take him this late in academia after multiple transfers unless there is some real tomfoolery and given what happened with Sasso I doubt there is any appetite. It's an outstanding school. Buckner is a top liberal arts school and no way Focus can get in, not that he wants to be around liberals anyway.

My bet is Drexel or Long Island if it's EIWA but honestly Rider is the place that checks all the boxes and that's my pick.

Yeah, that’s where I was headed RE: his transfer transcript and credits. I know lots of schools won’t accept that kind of transcript because you end up with that school’s degree, but your education came predominantly from other schools. Michigan admissions is like that, too.

Didn’t know all of that about American, but my second choice was LIU, so I liked seeing that from you. Answer coming soon, I guess

EIWA?

Lehigh is the only school of prestige you would imagine someone as accomplished as AJ could end up at. But as many stated, it has prestigious academics.

Market for AJ has trended down. From Iowa, to big payday at UNC, to Nebraska. I would have thought he'd end up at Oklahoma, Arizona State, Michigan, or even UVU or Illinois.

Michigan wouldn’t be an option because of transfer credits and his status, just like Lehigh and many others. The admissions department is ruthless, and they comb your transcripts and give you department credits, but you end up having to retake important classes that are needed for degrees. For example, if I take organic chemistry at Nebraska, 4 credits for lecture, 2 credits for lab. I pass with an A in both. 6 credits of Orgo. Transfer to U of M, they will give you probably 4 credits of Chemistry Department credits. So if you needed 8 credits of any chemistry department classes, that’s fine. But if you wanted to get a science or medical degree or something in some manner, you’d have to retake organic chemistry again. Also, UM requires you to be on track to graduate, so he would have to prove he’s 20% credits away from the degree he’s seeking. Also also, Michigan is notorious for saying “No” to nearly every Junior or Senior transfer in. Fr./RFr./Soph./Graduate students are usually the only kids they are able to get through admissions without many hurdles

This is just an example, but you can see how moving around to a few schools would land you in a position where you wouldn’t be on track for any degree at all, despite having 110 credits or whatever (120 needed to graduate, I believe). You end up with tons of credits but have fulfilled nothing to garner a degree.

it doesn't matter if he does or not...

he still has to be accepted as a "student" and maintain his eligibility...

That sucks for AJ that he won't get full credit for his orgo class and lab.  Do you think he'd at least get full credit for his mutivariate calculus and astrophysics?  You gotta let him count his Shakespeare class.

Literature class are bastion for pseduo intellects who like to drone on and not say anything, the idea of ferrari being in one just made me a little nauseous

I really hope he ends up at some bumblefuck NAIA school for his "missing" year of eligibility and majors in a christian ministry program when it's all said and done.

Exactly. So if credits don’t transfer and he has to take organic chemistry lab for the 2nd time, I doubt he’ll be losing any sleep over it.

🙂 Can't help it. There's such an element of farce about his saga that it seems to invite having some fun with it, no?

I agree, and that's exactly what I was doing. And quoting Shakespeare!

AJ is out here like Buster Bluth when it comes to his studies.

If its EIWA, Hofstra makes a lot of sense and it would give a much needed boost to their program by getting the Ferrari boys.  They are a better program than LIU where Anthony already wrestled, and they can fist pump on the island with all the other Long Island guidos.

Maybe so on paper. But in this new age kids are athletes first and students 2nd. Unless you are at an elite school like an Ivy or service academy.

I doubt he passed organic chemistry the first time…

So if these rumors are true how can a MAC or EIWA school pay AJ? Rider, Lock Haven, Kent State or Bucknell, Lehigh or Long Island? None will pay him even a tenth of what he was getting at OkSt, Iowa, or Nebraska.

Yes…

but, you still have to be on a specific degree path to remain eligible to compete…

I think that's the point - I don't think anyone is willing to pay him . . . so if he's looking to get what he got before than he'll be not on any team

He is not getting paid anything like he has previously.  No one wants to deal with his antics and if Anthony is part of package it probably devalues it even further.

It's more a question of who wants to deal with them than a question of who can pay them.

AJs best bet at this point is prob not NIL as we know it, it is probably to have a decent sized platform which will allow him to generate content and get some engagement and perhaps sponsors.

Where are we getting this idea that AJ Ferrari ever attempted organic chemistry?
