They looking stout. Is chocran not going 97 and mcdanel going 84?

Cochran can apparently make 84 and I don't see mcdanel making 184 at any time ever again being a 97kg guy

He is going to be a giant at 84. Be fun to watch

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

Nebraska is a really good team.

Will be a big notch below PSU and a small notch below Ok St, but right there with Va Tech, Iowa, Stanford, etc.

Hockaday is going to be really good.  Not sure if he is ready to finish in the podium next year but I think he does at some point in his career

100%.

I'm told Cochran weighs 195 and that 184 won't be a problem cut.

I got Nebraska squarely in 3rd. I think 2nd would require a perfect performance + an OKST flop (relative to expectations)

and, on paper, them far ahead of Tech/Iowa/Stanford.

Thinking similar to this year at Nationals w/ Penn State coming down to about 165.

You might be right, I just can’t put Nebraska “far” ahead of a Va Tech team that will have Eddie, Seidel, Bo, Henson, etc.

personally think if Williams ends up back at Iowa they’ll be right there as well (not so much if Crookham can’t go).

Nebraska has like zero recruits this year and nothing lined up for 2027. either.

Two recruits from 2025 will be in the lineup next season - Ziola and Hockaday. Zinkin is behind Echemendia now. They're graduating 4 next year. Ayoub is a quality replacement for Van Dee. Zinkin will come in after Echemendia. Singer is going to have to replace Cochran - would have been nice if Eise were a 184.

They have decent guys lined up when guys graduate, but if they don't start getting recruits, Nebraska might need to hit the portal each offseason to keep up their recent string of great success. They're missing out on recruits during a historic chapter for their program.

Penn State would have to lose multiple guys for the season & Lilledahl would have to be 1 of them to give anyone else a shot.

Why recruit them out of high school when you can recruit them after another school gets them on the podium their true freshman year?

nebraska does not have the means to be portal kings. just because they had a good year with the portal now, doesn't mean it's sustainable.

they need to pick up their pace with regular recruits.
