Interesting to hear that Vincent Robinson is taking a visit to Mizzou this week. That would be a huge add at 125. What are our options at 97? Do we have anyone on the roster that can score points at NCAA? Any notable guys in the portal we would be interested in?

I had no clue Robinson was visiting this week. I had heard Nebraska was all in on him, but he was visiting Iowa also. He had a relationship with Nasir Bailey back to their freestyle club days. As for 197, on the roster currently we have zero capable bodies. Cash Cooley incoming recruit from TX would need a RS. Maybe Logan Cole bumps up. Doubtful Stoner can cut down and Stillwell goes 285. Most likely we get a 1yr portal but who that could be, no clue.

I would be SHOCKED if Robinson goes to Mizzu, if you what you say is true that he is taking a visit.  I have heard Nebraska all the way, with small rumors off Va Tech

I could be jumping the gun on him visiting, but I would infer that this is Robinson

Logan Cole did wrestle 197 lbs. in the Little Rock dual and Mo Valley Open and was 5-0. He does have the height for 197. But putting on good mass could be the issue. I know the coaches there love him and he has been very competitive in matches they threw him out there in. 
I wonder if Robinson is looking to go 133 lbs. in the future? He wrestled 132 lbs. his senior year and I am sure the cut to 125 is not a pleasurable one. 
If MIzzou is looking to bringing in a 197 lbs. I think Payton Thomas from Navy is in the portal and has two years left and was a NCAA qualifier or someone like Carson Thomas in the portal from Indiana he was a top 40 recruit has 4 years left. Went 1-2 this year but majored the starter from Clarion and then got injured at Journeyman. So He may have some upside. 

If Fugitt is going 141 maybe bring in Nicolar Rivera for 133 lbs. Get Walker that redshirt he has been trying to get for the last two years.

@The_KC_Godfather and you @killdozer think alike. He just mentioned Payton Thomas of Navy to me as a potential 197 for us recently. Not sure on anyone with more than 1-2 yrs left though. I think Cooley could be a career 197, or at least 2-3 yrs and a good one for us.

I agree about Cooley. I think he is going to be a solid D1 kid. I do think he needs a redshirt. Their whole 2026 class needs a redshirt. Their recruiting class doesn't have any big names... losing Mills does that to you. But, I think Morales, Collins, Hampton, Cooley and possibly Craig could be decent contributors. I do like they just picked up Carrerra who had some good wins this year winning Illinois big schools.  Hampton, I think could be good. But, I was sad to see him decommit from SIUE. But, he chose Mizzou... So, silver lining.

Brady Collins is taking a Grey Shit, then possibly a regular shirt. So it might be a couple yrs before he’s an option. Collins, Hampton and Correa for now all seem to be around the same weight, 33-49. I do like Craig and hopefully we can get Colin Rutlin as well. This next class definitely needs a few upper weight targets.

He is going to Purdue to train with Ramos.

Harvey Twisters is a little bit more than "freestyle club" it's more akin to "one of the top nationally premier youth clubs for nearly 50 years" but I guess that's just semantics until you look at their alumni. Random names like VRob, Gable Steveson, Kamal Bey, Joe Williams, Tony Davis, TJ Williams and that's just the headliners.

133: Gage Walker (he said "there will be competition there from multiple time qualifier Kade Moore")

141: Fugitt (he said "Easton Hilton finished the season for us at 141 but Fugitt is there now and will wrestle off")

149: Mendoza (said he's really matured)

157: Gleason/Rath (he said "we have two good freshmen there who redshirted last year. Rath was hurt last year")

165: Conway/Heiser (he said "Heiser is dropping down to 165 and will challenge Conway for the spot". No mention of Bambinelli, which is interesting.

Competitors out of Kansas City didn't quite have the long tradition that Twisters did, but I remember back in the missouriwrestling.com days, when Oak Park (MO) was ranked top 5 nationally and went to the Elite 8 duals. There was a big debate on the forums about Harvey Twisters-fed Chicagoland teams vs. Competitors-fed Oak Park. Those were some intense discussions to say the least...

Is Harvey Twisters still around? I know Competitors isn't but was replaced by Victory Wrestling (which I believe is near Liberty).

Still around, I don't keep up with kids club for a few more years at least so that's really more of a @Husker_Du question if their current talent level is still up there. I know they had some state champs and placers no clue about their national status.
