  1. Past hour
  2. My apologies, as I was going off of Lehigh wrestling's record book that hasn't been updated. 1) Do you consider 4 AA heavies in 25 years a lot of "really good heavyweights?" 2) Do you think that Trephan was "developed" by/at Lehigh?
  3. An unverified news source says the shooter shot himself and is dead.
  4. Ok. Good info on his U23 opponents. Pretty solid run. Now do the Cardenas match... And when did J'Den go 0-1 at the Olympics? You are such a Nickal fan boy, I think you are blind to some of his losses. I was never talking about J'Den. Definitely?? LOL I can certainly put Sad and Chimaev in the same BREATH (no e) because I do not like how either cozies up to dictators or tries to violate international law. It has nothing to do with wrestling for either. P.S. My understanding is Cody Sanderson was doing the Winn-Dixie before Nolf
  5. It’s interesting to hear someone say they know something because they read about it. As if false statements or data has never been printed. Here we are to believe the commercially made signs, the pallets of bricks, the supplies of frozen water bottles, the lawyers and the bail money, are all products of grassroots and coincidence. Experience, hands on experience, is the best teacher, the best source of knowledge. It helps to have a bit (almost said degree) of what I consider a type of physics that applies to human activity, as well as material, pressure, etc. Charlie Kirk had it in spades from a young age. Some never obtain it over a lifetime. Some might call it critical thinking and believe it can be taught. I believe it can be presented to others, that they can be informed of it, but without a natural talent for it, even those with experience struggle to solve their cases.
  6. And Trephan but even if you don't want to count him that's 6 years out of 25.
  7. Going to have to disagree about the quality of the field, the Russian that he teched in the finals has a world silver and world bronze since then , the Azerbaijan wrestler he beat 9-2 was reigning u23 world champ and reigning euro champ, the Japanese guy he pinned was Japans senior level rep that same year and to top it off he also teched an Iranian all while bumping up weight which is no small feat in international competition Saduleev and Chimaev shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breathe as far as wrestling goes that may be true about Nolf but until someone actually points out who else hit the Winn Dixie in a D1 match against a returning AA then I’ll keep giving Nolf his props too be fair saying he lost to a guy that went 0-1 is definitely a shot at J’Den
  8. I'm not sure how it works, but with a lot of things, suspensions last until appeals are settled. My understanding is that he knows he will be suspended, he's just hoping to knock off a couple years.
  9. I think yes, unless they are NLWC members or coaches or USA coaches/national team members. If it ends up being a 3 year ban, I think he ends up doing more MMA, but won't be able to do an USADA tested org.
  10. When did the term 'antifa" first start being used in the US, and who started using it? And did parent groups get labeled as domestic terrorists? I am sure @uncle bernard will surely be able to answer these questions without googling anything based on his extensive research and vast knowledge of every subject
  11. Steveson had the votes. Why it was decided to step in is ridiculous.
  12. It's him praising policies from past administrations - democrat, republican, and independent - based on their merit, not party affiliation.
  13. It bugs me that the CLAW weight classes are set at 134lbs, 184lbs, and 197lbs. I’m fine with 157lbs - that’s a standard weight class in both high school and college wrestling, so it makes sense. But 184lbs is only a collegiate class. There’s no added value beyond that. If we’re sticking with collegiate numbers like 157lbs and 184lbs, then we should also keep 197lbs. Alternatively, bump it to something that makes more sense universally... 185lbs (close to 184, and it matches better with pro/MMA standards). 200lbs (a clean, round number) OR 205lbs (an established MMA class). As for 134lbs I get it, it’s roughly 61 KG. But come on… just make it 135lbs already. Also, just noticed the progression: +11, +12, +13, +14, +15, and then straight to heavyweight. I get the logic now, but I still don’t like it. That is my TED Talk.
  14. Lol, no wonder you have no idea what's going on in the world. You bury your head in the sand.
  15. At work can't watch, is it similar to realizing the problems introduced with DEI.
  16. i didn't watch the video. i dont listen to commies speak. i posted based on your statement. that said, i probably shouldn't read your posts anymore
  17. I thought he was appealing it, or that there was a hearing to appeal it? Does that mean that it suspends the impositions placed?
  18. sounds like he was trained at bykovo but for muslim infiltrators
  19. Can you cite the sentence that makes you believe that? The video has captions so it should be easy.
  20. sounds like he wants to implement social credit scores assessment of merit did you do your socialist good deed today?
  21. cocktail thoughts at the Viking Social Club bar?
  22. I doubt he got the question in advance. That's how he sounds in every appearance, even in hostile territory (MSNBC isn't exactly friendly territory for him either). He's probably the most gifted speaker on the left since Obama. But you're right that he is prepared for the question because it's the kind of question he's been asked over and over again for the last 6 months. Moving on to the concept of merit, you said exactly what I was hoping you'd say. It's a good example of what I've been trying to convince you: that your definitions of these concepts are too narrow. Social Democracy/Democratic Socialism is all about merit. The idea is to set a stable floor of living conditions to then allow individual talent to flourish regardless of what circumstances you were born into or fell into. Guaranteeing every citizen the basic means of living means everybody has a chance to flourish based on their talent, not their starting position. Look at Scandinavia. There are tons of hyper-successful, driven people there even though their politics prioritizes the collective good. It's exactly because they value the collective good that they have such great education and professional outcomes. Nobody gets left behind. Everybody thrives together. You know what is anti-merit? Medical bankruptcy. You can work as hard as you want and still get sick and be financially ruined in this country. Zohran's view is very practical/utilitarian. He views the mayor's job as trying to promote the best outcomes for the most amount of people. So it doesn't matter what letter is next to a former mayor's name. If they had good ideas and policies, that's all that matters.
  23. What did you expect from a wokester like Kimmel? Plying the victim is their specialty.
  24. Vengeance is happening right now. Sit back and take your medicine.
  25. Shocking that not having policies of any value would be something you’re ok with.
