The term illegal alien is used to factually describe what they are...they came across the border or are here ILLEGALLY, and they are not from the US hence they are an ALIEN to our country. You and others can make up in your heads a million ways why that is offensive or how it "hurts" people but facts are facts and they don't care about feelings. Also, you can make up terms like "privilege" or call me names all you want but it doesn't change any of the facts.

The issue is economic. They are a burden on hard working Americans, and there are significant cartel linked criminals that should not be here.

Firstly, no it isn’t. It’s a semantic question that doesn’t address the topic. secondly, for the same reason we stop using slurs for all other groups. It’s dehumanizing. Making it easier to treat them as ‘less than’. Unless that is your goal. To propose solutions to a problem without having the burden of thinking of them as similar to you in anyway. It tells us how unserious you are in addressing the issue. Tells us that you intend to treat them with as little compassion and empathy as possible. Flexing your privilege for no other reason than because you can. If that is the case, it makes you a monster. If not, you’re just a bigot. *not saying that you think or feel this way. But how insisting on using those terms might say about you.

Jesse Mendez won 6-5 in TB over Vance Vombaur (who was 8th this year) in the dual. Based on that match alone you say, Mendez isn't a title contender, or he's lost a step. 1.5 months later Mendez majored VV in the quarters and won the title. The dual meet was a one-off. The Zepeda match was a one-off on Stanich's summer resume. That was my whole point.

I watched some documentary on Bo Nickel training for RAF and swear I saw Carter on the bench with his headgear on. It looks like he is quietly wrestling in the room.

I am just upset that it probably has a higher accuracy than I would have picked. I think Nickal is going to pin him or get beat... Cardenas is a big, long grinder who specializes in Freestyle. Bo isn't going to be able to 'hip' in to him like he did Moore. Pindrickson will win via Pinfellery or Techfellery. He is bigger, faster, stronger, and better. It's going to be a clear mismatch on the mat. Blades is a punt pick. There wasn't any way it wasn't going to get that one right - no disrespects intended. NATO - Ramos at 7-4? I don't know. I think it ends up being a wide Decision for Ramos (12-4 or so) to a Tech or a grinding victory for NATO, like 3-3, 4-4 or the likes. Johnny D and Bajjie? Bajjie hasn't looked good in YEARS, and I know Johnny D doesn't look right, right now... but 9-3 Johnny D? If he is up that much, he's winning via Tech. If it's 9-3, it'll be Bajjie winning. Just how their styles will play out (I think) at this stage in their careers. This one is tough, because I don't know if either of them are in wrestling shape right now. Palmer and Gomez? I don't see how we don't see Palmer fly at least once with the checks he is writing. Palmer got completely dominated by Jenkins in a proto-wrestling match (it was supposed to be a fight - it wasn't). Jenkins tossed him several times in that match. Gomez is planting him on his head at least once. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gomez get countered... but if that happens Gomez will send him flying again. It's going to be a Tech or a Pin. Even Wick - Jason Nolf? How far from competition is Nolf, as far as competition shape goes? I know Wick can be a difficult draw for anybody under 6'6" tall, but Nolf is Nolf and if he has his cardio under him (which recent videos of him rolling around at Oklahoma and other places show he does) then it isn't going to be close. Might be low scoring first, but Nolf shouldn't give up any offensive points. I expect a 6-0 to 10-0 type performance from Nolf. Folks forget the last time we saw him take the mat in competition he beat Burroughs (blanked him), preventing JB from making the Best of Three OTT finals. Hildebrandt over ZHG via tech is as safe a pick as Blades. Even with her being 'retired' for a year now. Dake - Hamiti? 8-2 seems about right. Dake might not score that much, honestly, but it could be 4-1, 4-2, or 10-0 and I wouldn't be surprised. They will all seem dominant. Even a 3-3 win would seem dominant, I think. Woods - Caldwell? 6-1 seems plausible. With where their careers are right now, for Caldwell to get a Takedown on him, I would be surprised. I expect Woods to grind it out, get 1 or 2 takedowns and 1 or 2 exposures. Maybe a step out or two. That would be a good result. Take with a grain of salt, as I am also playing devil's advocate now.
