  2. So it’s not a plan? It’s just an outline of what to plan for when you make the plan? There’s no denying that some form of punishment and/or quarantine was finding favor at that time, especially among dimocrats. Timeline considerations Consideration: Plan for an extended duration of implementation time, at least 6 months. Other logistical considerations Consideration: Plan to identify additional resources and outline supply chain mechanisms to support green zones. Social/Cultural/Religious Practices Consideration: Plan for potential disruption of social networks.

  4. Late 80s early 90s had research meetings with climatologists, yes they had PhDs. What they were saying then is that we had just gone through a relative low variability period regarding climate etc and were now entering back into more normal (higher) variability. Now if you understand statistics, estimating models, time series etc and you are using data to estimate future events where older data is lower variability new is higher variability then you know the estimate trend can be biased by the direction of the first high variability observations. Hence not long after the new thing was global warming. Now if you understand Fed funding RFP etc they like to put out their new year RFPs in a new focused area. Hence a lot of money to study Global Warming. Well what do all the researchers do ... they write proposals to research Global Warming. Then when we find out its more of a new variability issue everyone is changing to Climate Change and hence new RFPs and new research on CC.
  5. Pay them. The top international talent doesn’t enter rankings tournaments because all they care about is the Olympics. Give them a reason to care about the other events. Not sure what the weight class comment even means. He’s basically saying the current international system (with weight classes, obviously) is already similar, but we should make it more fan friendly. Putting more emphasis on the team aspect could be one way IMO. Hardly anyone watches events like Bill Farrell, even though there are usually tons of NCAA champs in it. Heck, not that many Americans even watch Worlds and Olympics (even just compared to like NCAA duals), I don’t see many more if any more people watching random cards. I wish that weren’t the case, but I’d be shocked if RAF comes close to breaking even (especially considering what they surely had to pay to get the names they did). They probably won’t be succesful either but I think Claw has put the most thought into their league so far. New rules trying to make it more exciting, and a team aspect even including a draft. I know you’re the brain so maybe you still have some tricks up your sleeve, but so far all RAF has done is pay the most money to get the biggest names, and announce that the first venue will be at a school that just cut wrestling.
  6. All us commoners just wish we could be so lucky as the Captain
  7. I wouldn't know. My Captain, @MPhillips, recruited me into the commoners club
  8. Its just what an esteemed poster on here call summer fat. Biked down and back up for pickleball today but stopped for milk and cheese ... does that count?
  9. Fair point. As the AD I would put a lot of thought into snagging a young assistant with some star power. Someone like a Nolf.
  10. Oof your packing on the winter weight during summer? Maybe a bike ride up to Cottonwood Pass
  11. The thing is that the only teams with money to throw are throwing it at both coaches and wrestlers. OSU has some of the highest paid coaches and wrestlers. Same story at Iowa and PSU. The question is if you only have room in the budget for one. Would David Taylor be getting the top recruits at OSU if he was given a shoestring budget for wrestler acquisition?
  12. Today
  13. yeah, we're not. we're going with the UFC model.
  14. Oh, so the Ds are not trying to protect the children. Good of you to acknowledge that by changing your tune. I could go with "The Republicans are protecting the most notorious pedophile ring in the world". But the Ds didn't do much to shine sunlight on this either, they are doing so now only for politics. And my guess is they think it will hurt the Rs worse than the Ds for the upcoming election. That is the only reason this effort is happening now. Where was this righteous anger years ago? Free the files!!! Let them be free! mspart
  15. Ukraine wanted to be part of NATO and there was some consideration for that. Putin didn't like that and started this war to prevent it and gain a buffer. But I think that has been acknowledged and Russia could back out and not have a NATO'd Ukraine as a neighbor. I don't think Ukraine is demanding to be part of NATO anymore. If they are, I think NATO recognizes this would incite more war. This is really a war of conquest. Russia wants control of Ukraine. Ukraine doesn't want that. Left to themselves Russia would have taken them over easily. What would the next target be? Ukraine may be lost as a result or they may be partitioned, but the war has been disastrous for both countries and it would be crazy for Putin to try this again on some other former Soviet satellite. mspart
  16. Wokester Wingers don’t want to believe what’s real.
  17. https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/13/europe/zelensky-nato-vilnius-explainer-intl Read the first line under what Zelensky wants. The putz demanded it then backtracked like you always accuse the Orange Man of doing
  18. Swimming? Asking for a friend.
  19. I would not be surprised if weight was an issue too.
  20. I only watched the second match and felt that he had some difficulty pulling legs in off of shots. I immediately felt that he might be having some weakness in his extremities as a result of the neck injury.
  21. "Demanding?" Yet another winger lie. Over and over.
  22. They don't wrestle that many matches now days so I'll ask again: how do you break Cael's record?
