  1. Well, in case you missed it, part of the reason the plea deal fell apart beyond repair was because the charge he was pleading guilty was just deemed unconstitutional in the last couple of days, by a three judge appellate court in a completely separate case.
  2. Reading up on it more, it provides for more transparency in its conclusions. He must file a report after investigation, obviously one way would be supporting indictment…or the other way explaining why not. There’s provisions relating reports to Congress as well. Also of note, as has been widely misreported by the Senate committee, Weiss has not previously asked to be special counsel, until now. He did not previously ask and be denied. He made the determination to request now because of the fall out of the plea deal.
  3. Don’t know precisely the difference just that it gives him broader scope/access, allows him to investigate and bring charges in any jurisdiction he sees fit. Which if I’m not mistaken jurisdiction has been one of the sticking points in investigation as to why he hasn’t been charged previously.
  4. Hearing over the protective order just wrapped up. Judge compromised on a few things, Trump will be allowed to discuss publicly discovery (evidence) that is not deemed sensitive, and may not relay publicly any personally identifying information related to discovery. DOJ tried to insist that Trump must be accompanied by his attorney's at all times if he is reviewing, stating he has a tenacity for holding onto sharing information that he shouldn't but doesn't want to let go of, and that such an order exists in the FLA docs case and he agreed to it. She wouldn't go that far but did say he was not able to review any evidence unattended in any room with electronic or copying devices, and his lawyers must review his notes to ensure he does not record any personally identifying information or sensitive information. Aside from the details of the protective order, judge emphasized two things on a number of occasions: Trump is bound by the conditions of his release at arraignment, at one point insinuating his recent behavior has been in direct violation, and that any further harassment of officials in this case or potential witnesses or jurors will meet action, and that while he will be afforded every right of speech and the first ammendment, that speech must yield to the rules of the court process. She also made clear to Trump lawyers in a number of exchanges that inside this court room it is about the rule of law, and politics and political campaigns will not factor into any decisions. She made clear that the defendants future aspirations do not exempt any aspect of the rule of law or court process: "Presidents are not Kings, and the defendant is not President" This is her first appearance in this case, a magistrate oversaw the arraignment. It was clear she was giving a fair ruling on the protective order, and a fair warning that he will be treated just as any other defendant before her in a federal felony case. Her closing remarks: "I intend to ensure the orderly administration of justice in this case as I would with any other case. Even arguably ambiguous statements from parties or their counsel … can threaten the process. In addition, the more a party makes inflammatory statements about this case which could taint the jury pool ... the greater the urgency will be that we proceed to trial quickly ... I will take whatever measures are necessary to safeguard the integrity of these proceedings"
  5. The why is because they have not uncovered any evidence that Joe or Hunter Biden were involved in an attempt to overthrow an election because they were unhappy with the results and were either on the presenting end of lies about those results, or receiving end of those lies, that has led to a lot of death, injury, and destruction of lives. There has been evidence uncovered that being Bidens has been good for finances, and Hunter at least is slippery with his taxes and a recovering drug addict.
  6. I have no knowledge, understanding, experience, applicable or otherwise, of international business and International banking. Which is probably why I am so reliant on the actual evidence and proof presented as it relates to forming my opinion on this 'investigation'.
  7. I just don't get it. Through all of this we are literally at the point where the biggest thing they can show any kind of real proof of is that the Biden family made money on the Biden family name. Which.......is pretty much as American as apple pie amongst our American politicians, like it or not. It's all a game, not at all serious. Again, if they were at all serious they would at least take a tiny little peek into Kushner. It's all MAGA trying to protect and keep focus away Trump and his cases. In the meantime costing Republicans, therefore real conservative policy, elections. I hope they wisen up in the next couple months, but not holding my breath.

  11. One thing Covid exposed in a very demonstrative way is the hypocrisy on both sides when it comes to ‘my body my choice’
  12. I like that. (The description, not that it’s the reality)
  13. Well, I guess I was being hopeful. Keep plugging along. You’ll get there.
  14. Good to know you changed your mind. Last time I asked you you told us how you didn’t need to. You’re learning to think for yourself. Progress.
  15. Actually, he wouldn't need to show you, the laws are cited in the indictment. You should read it.
  16. Drop pics of your ugly wrestling ears here.....
  17. The whole thing gotten so muddy, discerning what is and what is not actual facts has become very difficult.
  18. You'd have to get into the details. But then again to do that, you would have to actually go and read the documents. But we will leave it up to the judge and jury to determine it's legality. Hannity doesn't really have a vote in that matter.
  19. It's pretty much a standard routine. Hourly spritz on the meat, burn a couple buildings down, come back and smoke a 'peace pipe'..........for balance.
