  2. Here is the escape call to force overtime at 125 with 1 second on the clock.
  3. Oh good, more Penn State media coverage.
  4. Kueter battling and keeping it closer than I thought, but Kerk not really opening up.
  5. Weigh ins Kerk 245 Kueter 229.9
  6. If Glazier can antagonize Brooks into throwing a punch at him, he has a chance.
  7. Is Michigan experiencing an Iowa hangover?
  8. #19 in his class.
  9. That was a fun match
  10. All that set is missing is a couple of ferns.
  11. That second to last takedown and release, Guerrero was not near a defensible position. You might say he got Yagla'd.
  12. They were 10th at NCAA as recently as 2021. This year is a result of NIL plus the transfer portal. I know Northwestern has rigid grad program standards, but don't tell me they couldn't have kept the guys around this year if there wasn't NIL offers.

  14. Two of the Flaherty brothers from Big Lake, MN wrestled each other in a Gopher vs. Badger dual a long while ago.
  15. It depends on what you are invested in within the 401k. A broadly diversified all stock portfolio or fund should have doubled about 4 times in 30 years (using Rule of 72 and assuming 10% average annual return on equities) so 10K would be around 80K. A more balance 60/40 stock/bond portfolio would have doubled about 3 times in 30 years (using Rule of 72 and assuming 7% average annual return), so 10K would be around 40K.
  16. Tanner Jordan beat Volk, but Tanner Cook also won at 165. Too many Tanners on that team
  17. Don't waste time on buying individual stocks. All you need is a low cost diversified total market index fund from a company like Vanguard, Fidelity, or Schwab. Beats the stock pickers every time. VTSAX and chill.
  18. Of the 7 that left, only 1 or 2 had a sure path to starting at Minny this year and the rest would have been in battles for starting spots. McKee vs. Spratley ? Wells vs. Nagao X VomBaur vs. Jamison X X Roberts vs. Polanco X Blockhus vs. Lee Brenner vs. Carlson ? Tabor vs. Kluever ?
  19. Dual vs. Tournament...the different scoring methods benefit teams differently One type of team can be built quickly with the portal + . The other requires development and coaching.
  20. Minnesota had 7 wrestlers transfer this off-season that are currently starting on their new team... Spratley (OSU), Nagao (PSU), Jamison (OSU), Polanco (Pur), Lee (IND), Carlson (OU), Kluever (Hof). Michigan had 5 All-Americans transfer in, and yet Minnesota still has a higher ranked dual team. #Development
  21. Did Boo Dryden and Kyle Burwikk ever get a fair wrestle-off. That's gotta be dang near a foot difference.
  22. Ben Kueter, IA vs. Jack Jessen, NW was probably a 7 inch difference.
  23. 184 Max McEnelly is 15-0.
  24. Kind of crazy when we aren't even all that shocked when a high schooler beat a #1 ranked in NCAA.
