You were missed on here....said no one! I freaking gave you the reason I use the term...because it defines what they are to a T. How could I see them as less than anything when I don't know them other then they broke the law and came here, or are here illegally and thus, they should be held accountable for breaking the law....the same way I feel if someone isn't an illegal alien and they break the law, they too need to be held accountable. It is very telling that by me having that opinion you think it is somehow "dehumanizing". Your life must be so fulfilling playing the victim every chance you can get.

The term illegal alien is used to factually describe what they are...they came across the border or are here ILLEGALLY, and they are not from the US hence they are an ALIEN to our country. You and others can make up in your heads a million ways why that is offensive or how it "hurts" people but facts are facts and they don't care about feelings. Also, you can make up terms like "privilege" or call me names all you want but it doesn't change any of the facts.

I was merely asking what your stance is given that you wrote about believing in facts and talked about losing liberties...I don't believe asking for clarification is reading into things you wrote as I truly was trying not to do that by asking questions. Don't disagree with what you said here when applied as an overall concept...but again, can you articulate "how" the connection back to DC and the NG being there to an erosion of liberties since you are the one who attempted to make such a connection.

What do you mean "agree to disagree"....what data and facts show you that DC was/is a safe place and that the mayor and the police chief are clearly doing their job??

I have looked at the data...DC was NOT a safe place to be. That leads me to believe, as with a lot of others including the president, that someone, or multiple people were not doing their job and thus needed help to get things under control. Not sure how that is even debatable but guess everything is these days regards less of the facts and truths behind things. As for liberty, can you point to where having the NG on the streets in DC to help reduce violent crime has, or will erode any law-abiding citizens liberty?
