  1. What the?!?! Ok...you seriously have gone off the deep end! You and @uncle bernard are clearly looking for the boogyman in something on here...Paul does not seem upset at all...it is called A DISCUSSION. And show me where one person on here has said they are 'SO UPSET" about LSU, or any other team that they want all scholarships taken away and for all support to be pulled?? What is wrong with someone saying IF they did it as a form of protest then they disagree with it but agree with their freedom to do so? Or even if they did it other than it's their "routine" and you don't like it? How is that expressing so much anger that you get called an "abuser". You two must be absolutely wonderful conversationalists in real life. How could anyone discuss anything with you two without you two thinking they are racist/bigots/against everything and everyone/abusers/etc.??? You two need to get out of the classrooms and your text books and get in the real world.
  2. Aren't you against lowering taxes so shouldn't you be criticizing Biden??
  3. Yeah...I know. I am all for freedom. My questions again weren't nefarious in anyway but trying to understand how, if possible, someone could restrict scholarships. And never once did I make an opinion that anyone SHOULD restrict scholarships for this.
  4. What?? Who said I don't like the basketball team or their members?? I don't even know them. Once again trying to read into things to find a boogeyman and label me with some sort of 'ism. If you read ALL my post dumb dumb you would have seen I really don't care that they weren't out there for the national anthem. I personally like it when players stay and stand, but again, couldn't care less if others don't. How many more times do I need to type it before you get it babble boy?? And by the way my "guess" is based on experience at large national wrestling tournaments and talking with college coaches....so yeah...call that a "guess" I...guess?!?
  5. Got it..thanks. But a coach could make a rule that his/her/their players stand/pay tribute when the anthem is playing and this is not covered under free speech?
  6. This is just not true. The wrestlers, where they are located when the anthem starts, stop and pay tribute. Do the basketball players stop what they are doing in the locker room and pay tribute...my guess is no. Does this bother me, not really...just think it is stupid is all, but who cares?!
  7. Even if it was a requirement to receive a scholarship, and/or required to receive state funding?
  8. Because of the venue and the type of event is my guess. They ask the wrestlers to leave the mat and the timing of the anthem isn't conducive to having all the teams and their wrestlers out there. My guess is the wrestlers, unless up right away, stop what they are doing and respect the anthem. And that was my experience when I use to help coach our national team at Fargo.
  9. I couldn't care less if they are R v D, you made a statement, and I asked you to prove your statement that those policies, or made-up policies, made someone poor, kept someone poor, or limited them from bettering themselves....as usual, you can't! babble babble babble.......
  10. I find it extremely weird that a pregame routine wouldn't include being on the court/field/mat for the national anthem. As for teams that aren't on the court for the national anthem, whatever I guess...I wouldn't have noticed seeing as I don't pay that much attention to womans basketball...well basketball in general I guess. Again I just find it weird that a coach would have a pregame routine that doesn't include being part of the national anthem. As for the governor, sounds like he is a strong believer that athletes who receive state funding should be on the court and standing for the national anthem. Guess that is on Louisianans, anas, in...or whatever they are called, to decide. I do like the way they talk and their food though...
  11. Agreed! One of the worst things that can happen to a child! Feel so bad for Nex...so sad. But like you extremely angry about what led up to her death.
  12. I am going to use your schtick for "discussion", please tell us how the policies you listed, again some are just made up, limit upward mobility and opportunities and/or punish people for being poor??
  13. Wow do you like to babble and never address anything other than semantics...you are attacking the idea that CEO's have risk versus the overall topic that was being discussed....so again, why do you hate big corporations and their CEO's and executives?? Why do you think they hoard their money? What do you have against big profits and a successful company that employs thousands and thousands of people?? Do you not want people to have jobs? Do you want everyone to be paid exactly the same no matter what they contribute? Maybe there could be a back and forth and exchange of ideas and opinions if you just for once actually address the topic at hand versus the semantics/psycho babble you spew and blame others for doing the very thing you do.
  14. This has got to be the dumbest thing I have read on the internet in a LONG time. Again, do you actually believe the things you write??
  15. Was awesome watching her turn around and drive away!! And yes, Trump was invited. Funny how people on here are arguing against support for a fallen hero...absolutely pathetic. Hope none of you idiots ever need a cop.
  16. How in the heck did those things, which most are over-reactions and untrue, make someone poor and stay poor?? Please show us your incredible intellect, common sense, and logic.
  17. Not sure how this turned into R vs D again, but what is hilarious is that the OP is so scared of a book...how mentally weak do you have to be to be that afraid of a book. And aren't these the type of people that scream against and yell about "book bans"?? Hypocrisy at it's finest!
  18. Interesting how different states do things differently. I am surprised that WA doesn't have income tax...wish where I lived there wasn't any. And I could go on and on about capital gains but will save that for a different time...oh and the estate tax.
  19. Why oh why do "news" sites do this?!?! Take a tragedy and turn it into a political thing...so nauseating!! This is some sever partisan b.s. and using the poor victims of the bridge collapse as a way to push a political agenda and bash Trump. How and why grown "adults" think they are doing "good" by using the tragedy as a way to address the boarder issue is beyond comprehension. Oh and TDS is real my friends. By the way this is the lead story on their webpage...at least it was when I was on it. The true face of immigration | CNN Politics
  20. Can't believe that this is even a thing...how does someone rationalize it in their head that it is totally fine for people to come into someone else's property and then claim it as their own?? Not to even mention having laws that protect the people that do it...crazy!
