So, there was uproar that Walz/Hegseth shared classified information with A journalist...then it was determined that the information wasn't classified so there is uproar that they shouldn't be using an app that could be hacked, but wasn't, and then it's uproar over the sharing of the information being because of human error?? This was an unforced error by Walz/Hegseth, and they should be held accountable as appropriate; however, the partisan outrage is laughable...just admit your true outrage is that no matter what any of the R's do you are going to complain and find fault in it. I will say again, I find it really weird and sad how a lot of you on here are cheering and hoping Trump and his administration fail...you do realize if that happens it is bad for not only the R supporters but for everyone...right?!?!?

So, you are saying people can't get phished or vished using another type of communication method? There are communication programs out there that in no way can be hacked by humans getting fooled and/or making mistakes?? Partisan arguing at its finest going on here.

Admittedly I don't know the ins and outs of what is classified and what isn't in this case, but it seems if this information was so sensitive/classified that if someone received it inadvertently maybe it shouldn't be publish for everyone to see?? Or is it more important to get a gotcha on a group of people you dislike politically versus doing what's right for the country?? Like "Hey, I don't think I should have received this, maybe you need to look at how you are communicating sensitive/classified information?", report that it happened, but leave it at that without all the details?? And just so everyone is clear and people don't feel the need to comment on this aspect of it....I am not giving Hegseth and team a pass on this, this should be investigated and if there were serious breaches of protocol then people should be held accountable...but that is a different thread...I just don't want some of the usual suspects hijacking Paul's thread.

So, is it safe to say that it is a good thing these astronauts are back on earth?? Yes! And is it safe to say thank you to Elon Musk and SpaceX helping make that happen?? Yes! I read through all the events and how they occurred including the statements made by the astronauts, and from their perspective they have no idea why there was a delay and that they were "not privy to any discussions as to why" and/or if it is "political", but they indicated that it didn't matter to them because they were prepared to stay as long as they did as that is part of the preparation prior to heading into space originally...i.e., they were prepared to stay 8 days or for as long as they did.

How were they originally supposed to get back to earth?

Good question...I am not exactly sure...again from what I have read and seen, the states would have a system to do that...but who really knows. Guess we will have to wait and see what comes of it all.
