I don't think Trump is getting punked by Putin, and I say that as not a ringing endorsement of Trump, but rather in realistic terms. In my opinion, the US is trying to end the war; however, between the two of them, Ukraine and Russia, they both go back on the things they say and neither seems super interested in truly ending the war. Not sure the US can do much here other than stay on the side of the "not as bad" side...only other option would be to truly join the war and that is something we definitely should NOT do!! I wonder if people would talk about what is going on by just saying the country name and not the respective president's names there could be a more logical conversation about things...hmmm??

See bolded...that was what I was referring to when I said reread my post about perspective as it still holds true. That was all that my post was about is how people have different perspectives and thus look at things through that lens...right...wrong...or otherwise. You think the things Trump has done proves he is a racist...that is the lens you choose to view it through....I personally don't. I have never heard him say or do anything that would be like...yep he is 100% racist. To me it is all typical political rhetoric/D vs. R/Trump hatred BS...but again, that is MY perspective...thus the lens I use to view these things through. No further point or meaning other than that.

In regard to the Clippers! The way I look at it has to do with perspective...I have no problem holding someone responsible for what they may have done and said in the 70's, but only by the societal norms of the 70's, not by current standards. People that were not racist at heart did and said things in the 70's that by today's societal norms would sound and seem very racist...heck watch movies from the 70's, 80's, and even the 90's and based on today's societal norms one would be like sheesh, that seems really racist; however, at the time it did not. Anyway, didn't mean to harp on the 70's thing, but I guess it is all about perspective. As I have said repeatedly, I personally don't like Trump's personality, he is brash, rude, and very arrogant; however, I am able to not look at him through a constant negative lens and perspective that some, like you, have and do. And that is fine to have one's own perspective, but I just don't like when people use that 100% negative perspective of someone to twist and turn things into claims about the person that I personally have never witness or heard the man say that I would consider "racist"...and the "proof" that some try to use is either them playing mental gymnastics to make crazy leaps , or they are using things done/said in the past and applying today's societal norms to it that when said and done at the time was not considered "racist". Anyway, just my perspective on things...everyone is entitled to their own.
