  1. Eh, jealousy of an 18-year-old kid is definitely dumber.
  2. Bo B? Did Bo Bassett already decide he's not going to be a Cowboy? Is he going to Penn State?
  3. Why are you so eager to be able to trash an 18-year-old kid? For... using social media to increase his profile which...invariably leads to more money? Also good for the sport, but if you really need to, it's a free country. You can trash the kid whenever you feel like it. Might be wise to hear why he decided to leave before you do, but again, that's on you.
  4. Ok State doesn't actually make much sense. Penn State...THAT does. He'll be a 149 probably. He's a Sr this year. SVN will be a Jr with 1 more year. He takes a RS and slides into the lineup. OK State is stacked with recruits from '33-'74 in particular. BUT, with Jax, maybe he wants to make Stillwater Bishop McCourt 2.0. God knows Penn State has convinced kids, 'if you're really that good, don't worry about who is already here.' Maybe Taylor is doing the same. I'm not going to make a judgement on the Brands because... that's tired. I AM however going to remind people what Askren said about Iowa. How you'd be stupid to go to Iowa straight out of HS, how you get more money going to another school, then transferring as an AA. You get more money(I think he brought up Ayala). I don't know if that's true, he does seem to not love Iowa, but he also knows more about the recruiting process than I having gone through it with so many Wrestlers. Or...at least having so many former Wrestlers communicating with him.
  5. I don't think so... I think someone just posed the question.
  6. That's exactly how I read it. I think it's more important for the person donating sometimes. You're not there, you can't do anything and...this at least makes it feel like you're helping in SOME way. But it definitely doesn't read as 'we need money for the bills.' *I also assume Ben would share with his wife how to access his cryptocurrency. I doubt he still has it in a password protected wallet, but...even if he does, he's a 40 year old father with 3 kids, I'm guessing it's with his other financial documents.
  7. Yes, but I'd be shocked if he didn't have insurance. That should cover everything up until ~15K...with the exception(possibly of the transportation from LV to Wisconsin). It's entirely possible however that it wasn't deemed "medically necessary" to move him from LV to Wisconsin. That would likely have been extremely expensive. Maybe it's so...Amy can be there and not have to work(I don't know if she is a Stay at home mother) or maybe she has to pay for childcare or maybe...a hundred other things. Maybe it's just something someone set up because they felt like that's the only thing they could do. I mean, IIRC, when Ben's Wife Amy last posted an update, she said someone had set up a fundraiser for the RTC, something Ben wanted to do and I don't recall her mentioning her own fundraiser. Something like this costs money even if the actual hospital bills don't cost money. You're entire life is put on hold and from what everyone has said publicly, his wife has pretty much been camping out in his room. Whatever it's used for, I'm fine with it.
  8. Trip...we're like...90% in agreement on this... but I really hate this 'I'm leaving" crap. Our Founders had to fight...lining up, waiting to get shot, knowing when they did, they'd saw that limb off. The Civil War, the Soldiers at Andersonville had to pick through their own crap for pieces of corn so they have something for their next meal. Finally, these Islamic Fundamentalists don't care if it's you. It's actually harder to get to you in the US.... so they're as likely to attack Europe. And if you're worried about the mainland, go watch Chinese propaganda, look at the MOST AMAZING things they've got, the things that look like they're out of Sci-fi, the hypersonic Missiles and the Naval Vessels, the submarines, and then keep in mind, the Pentagon talks in open committee about how the Chinese are going to pass us up...we need to increase that Military Budget 10%! And then you find out, that amazing new piece of evidence is already antiquated in the US. Kinda like the F-117 Stealth that was created in '77, deny we have it...and then in 1990, we say, 'yeah, we had that, but we're retiring the old Nighthawk. What's more, if it's the leadership you disagree with, that's an even worse reason to leave. Just take it two years at a time. Trump's approval rating is at an all-time low in modern history for a President this early in and the leading contender is...Donald Trump Jr. He is NOT the original thing. MAGA is Trump and only Trump. Things will get better(even if I don't quite agree with you on this one subject).
  9. I always do! You just don't always agree with them!
  10. Sadly, his past statement probably isn't applicable in this scenario I bet they wouldn't take Scout. Though.... they DO like people who are incapable of independent thought and get all their news from X, don't question things and already decide what's right before knowing what they're arguing about(what I'm describing is...stoopid). We're not going to War, but you gotta list me thought reasons. A-You'd..assume... (which is dubious in and of itself with Trump, the guy with the non-Nazi-Nazi-tattoos and the intelligence committee that said Iran was making no attempt to develop Nuclear Weapons and our Nations GREATEST DEI hire, Tulsi Gabbard(I don't actually know if she was DEI, I just noticed if they're not a white man, you can reduce them to DEI) that it'd be VERY few boots on the ground and more us supporting the Cown Prince's claim to the throne. You already have a majority of Iranians who want a different form of non-theocratic Government. B-Unlike Iraq or Afghanistan, this would GREATLY shift the balance in the Middle East and maybe so many of the most powerful countries there wouldn't be so...GD regressive. Treating Women as property (which stopped being cool here like 160 years ago). But it'd also GREATLY reduce the terrorists activity in that Country, and while it's a LOONG shot, if you could get a more secular Govt in there, just as you have when the Shah was in power, it'd change the world more than any countries 'regime change' since the Soviet Union fell...short lived though that may have been. So you fund the rebels, you start to trot out Pahlavi, you maybe...set up Starlink over Iran... It's incredibly unlikely, but it'd be a MASSIVE boon to lasting peace. Nobody wants this to continue. Though...again, I was told there'd "be no wars with Trump."
  11. This is not even dog whistle antisemitism. People were saying the same nonsense when Biden was funding Israel. Please stop identifying everything as "oppressed and oppressor." Israel isn't TRYING to oppress Palestine (well, they weren't, now they're just kicking ass in Gaza because they just never stop). The Palestinians have been given AMPLE opportunity for peace. They've not once negotiated in good faith. Israel pulled out of in 2005 and their GDP was growing at 4-5% per year(so good economic growth). They got more aid per capita than anywhere in the world. I wonder what Palestine would look like if... they just put that money toward the people rather than building on the underground tunnel system and building military bases in schools and hospitals? But they didn't. And sadly, as Oct7th approached, more and more Palestinians were in favor of peace. Israel was building hospitals, but you're goddamn right they still had strong borders and blockades. But if you're going to ask why Israel, the Country that's been attacked since the ENGLISH Mandate, had strict check points and borders, lets ask why Egypt did as well? But in the end, aside from aside from "Nettanyahoos," being a childish retort and similar to Scout/Jimmy's "libtardods" line...what you're really saying is, "The Jews are controlling us." You really think the US is doing something that's NOT in it's own best interest? And they've been doing this since Carter? C'mon...
  12. Citing an agreement Iran was adhering to before Trump pulled out of it for...no rational reason...seems foolish. I don't agree. Iran may try and use terrorists to detonate a dirty bomb in the US, but Enriching Uranium to the point where you can make Nuclear Weapons...and THEN finding a delivery source that the United States won't just be able to shoot out of the sky is a taller order now. It's going to be... quite a bit more difficult in the future with artificial intelligence. No, if they could build a nuclear weapons, they'd go after Israel. On top of wishing all Jews would return to Israel as it's be easier to kill them all, Hamas leader said the following; “All of you 7 million Palestinians abroad… you have Jews everywhere. You should attack every Jew possible in all the world and kill them.” cufi.org Since the 1980s they've been years. Since the early 90s, it's been mostly Months.
  13. Then don't listen to how it's "framed." And I don't know how being in Europe is going to help you here. Seriously... there have been a LOT more refugees taking in from Europe in recent years, people who are more fundamentalist than you have in the US. Hell, we even deport Afghan translators who put their lives on the line, saved American Military Lives with old Red White and Blue promising to let them come here since...they fought for our country and WILL be murdered if they are sent back... and we're indifferent.
  14. Well... you have the overthrow of the Hawiian Kingdom...that worked out pretty well! Uh...Panama was...pretty successful. Haiti in...the 90s(93, 94, IDR). Also the Dominican Republic. That worked. I just find the...well, I used to call it Far Right, but if you're MAGA, about a 90% chance you're already far right, but their hypocrisy is HILARIOUS! They argued against the veracity of the IAEA intelligence reported in 2018 when the US pulled out of the JPOAC. The same people...they're quoting them ALL over the place today! Oh, and on top of that, you have the; Biden Started Two Wars," crowd...despite not sending an American Soldier in either event and that's why we need Trump, because he'll end the wars in Israel, in the Ukraine and he'll do it on Day 1! A couple questions, are those two Wars over, did Trump use US Troops to intervene in Iran and does the right even see how full of fecal matter they are!
  15. I get that, but I think that's an overblown fear. Iran isn't capable of escalating it badly. Now, while I think @Scouts Honorspeaks out of both sides of his mouth when he says "Iran is not a serious country," and then says it's so important, they're so close to getting a Nuclear Weapon, we HAD to bomb them," I do not think they can really do anything in terms of striking back. Terrorist attacks are coming(or at least plots and I'm sure some long actors who just think it's a good idea to act on behalf of Iran)...and there will be other things, I don't thnk it's WWIII, I don't think China has the appetite to get involved, I think China wants to, but won't do so until they're fighting from a position of strength(not just their Military, their economy). The one thing they have going for them, they DEFINITELY have a coherent, long term plan and they are following that. By definition, we'll never have that. The continuity of leadership. I wouldn't want it, but in this case, I think it keeps them out. Egypt wouldn't dare, the Saudi's have become far too pragmatic(though still brutal). Jordan isn't going to(another country with a treaty). Iraq is...not in a position to engage in a military offensive, Afghanistan should...really know better. I don't see this escalating beyond missiles being fired. The WORST thing that could happen would be China takes this as an opportunity to implement it's blockade of Taiwan with so much of the Pacific Fleet in the Middle East. That would MASSIVELY rattle the market, per US Foreign Policy, that's an act of War... but I don't think China is going to do that at this point(though I don't think Trump would go to War there as...there'd be a real threat to the Military and despite the fact that it'd cause...well, a global financial crisis(Semiconductors from Taiwan being cut off, even with the AZ plant from the Biden Chips Act underway and performing exceptionally well, it'd still have catastrophic affects). But I don't think it's going to escalate into any type of global conflict. I think it's reached it's zenith...unless Israel goes in and does more. What's MUCH more likely to happen is a massive Cyber-Security Hacking attempt. I've been a longtime shareholder of CRWD, bought PANW about a year ago and S(Sentinel One is a growth AI Cyber Security company that's got a lot of growth potential). AI is the future. Hopefully you also bought NVDA 6-7 years ago or TSM, AVGO, you could buy AMD now, PLTR is a crazy valuation, NVTS is a good growth stock, but the second order consequences will be more attempts to hack, IP theft and in response, the companies that can actually use AI to block cyber security. ---AT least...that's my opinion and how I'll be watching this unfold. Hopefully with some Iranians taking to the streets...and maybe with the soldiers distracted, they can actually accomplish something.
  16. Ok, so I just cut and pasted your link and... I never case to be amazed at your ability to so consistently misrepresent an argument. 1-Show me a SINGLE time I've been again bombing Iran? I DID point out your hypocrisy. You JUST used this source to advocate for it. YOU were using the IAEA's Data... but only NOW in 2025 when it suits the argument you'd already made up before you came into this conversation. Me on the other hand, I've consistently said I think the best thing that could happen to the Middle East would be if we were able to help aid the Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, and see it returned to the type of country they were in the 1970s. 2-Well, I'll just repeat #1 again. I've pointed out MOUNTAINS of hypocrisy... maybe that's why you're confused? But you keep saying that I'm ....denying Iran is working on their Nuclear plan or I guess just whatever argument you need to make at the time to stop from looking like a fool, but #2 is show me where I've been against Trump's action? 3-Tell me why you think the IEAE is such a great source in 2025, but you didn't believe them in 2018? Or at least why YESTERDAY you thought they were such a great source now, but not in 2018? IAEA chief says Iran has material for warheads but no weapon program | Fox News
  17. Yes...and since the START... my point has simply been... if you want to say you can't 'trust' the United States, they were, according to ALL sources abiding by the conditions. It wasn't until after they started to ramp up their Nuclear program again. I've NEVER argued they were going to go back to trying to become a Nuclear power. Look at it from their perspective. The US has them, Israel has them...why should they not be allowed to? But fine, they made a deal where THEIR ASSETS(money was NOT "given" to them) were unfrozen...and so they stopped. Every agency agreed on this point, Gov't or the IAEA That was it. Ok. You know the IAEA is not "the Government," and it's the Trump Government. But if you didn't believe it then, why are you using numbers citing the same sources now?
  18. Yeah... I tore mine up and I got back to being pretty good, pretty strong. Rehabbed it, I was never a guy who could throw up 400 pounds or 360...but I could throw up 225 15-20X or more if I was training hard and training for endurance. But I my shoulder looked all jacked when I would raise my arm over my head. It poked out and made a weird song. That was the end for me. They drilled 4 holes for anchors, and basically just tied it back together. I was no longer Wrestling and I'm pretty sure the reference was a hack doctor. I got back to being able to lift, but I can't throw anymore(and I used to love Baseball). But those shoulder injuries were SOO painful. I've had hip, knee, back(that was actually minor, but it was spne)...I've had over 15 now. Nothing hurt like that shoulder when the nerve blocker wore off.
  19. LOL... because you can't without making a fool of yourself. By the way, my Norton blocks the Tweets you send... but shockingly, you're once again leaning on someone else to articulate a point for you. That's funny, they're PERFECTLY valid sources for ME. YOU all were the ones claiming Iran "wasn't serious" and that Iran wasnt' following the agreement in 2018 when Trump pulled out...despite those same sources saying otherwise.
  20. Jesus Christ dude, this was a simple question asking where they were seeing that. I wasn't near a TV and had a poor connection. (Then again, you still never answered why you believe the IAEA NOW when you blindly dismissed them in 2018.... and just to remind you of your buffoonery when you ask why I believe THEM in 2018, but NOT today, I'll... just reiterate, I've believed them both times as I have no reason not to). He promises everything on most issue, so it's hard to do the opposite of what he promised to do. That said, I'm REALLY on board with this one is if they support Reza Pahlavi in helping him with regime change(which Iranians are overwhelmingly in favor of, with 40% specifically wanting HIM to lead them and ~80% who want a form of a Democracy.
  21. A coherent policy regarding Iran? This administration is all over the place. -2018, their State Department says they're abiding by the JPCOA -The IAEA said they've been in full compliance and. **US Pulls out of Deal...which means Iran has no reason to adhere to the plan after we unfroze their money(we never "gave" them money, we had their money frozen and released it) -2nd Administration says; And now aside from Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Palestine, all of which the US were merely involved in tangentially, they're not directly involved. Which in Iran's case, I'm fine...IF they were going to support the Shah and the Shah's supporters. But they're not, this is it...they're done. So the last administration didn't actually get involved in a War, this one did(in fact the last one LEFT a War).
  22. Fair enough... I do get suckered into these...weird changes midway through that are not related to the original topic. But I agree with that article on that count. I celebrated Bush and Bowman getting knocked out, I'd like to see Pesseley, Talib and...another who's name escapes me. Beshear, Polis(if he was straight, I think he'd be great, I think that'll take away from it), JB from Illinois, Mark Kelly is a guy I think would have impacted the election...though he's a "loon," yet I haven't heard why. We get distracted by these... silly peripheral issues that serve almost nobody. They'll call a guy like Biden a Marxist anyway, but that's to be expected under any circumstance. I do think it's funny who the right view as the leaders on the left. Someone named Jeffries, Harris(Obviously not)...Newsom(very popular) and AOC...who is not the Cori Bush type progressive they suggest and she may be "a leader," more recently, but not a candidate for POTUS anytime soon.
  23. No... not now. 15 years ago...yes. Of course. He Wrestle's real Wrestlers and then it's a joke. He Wrestled Josh Moore, former Penn State and current Kent State coach...and it was just play Wrestling. Moore could have taken him down over and over. But it's a good video for the sport, so lets keep the secret for a while!
  24. So...SOOO many young kids with cars dude! And you must not be a CFB fan if you never heard about him before that? He was a great College QB and my prediction is... as always entirely dependent upon what the Browns surrounding talent looks like. If he was in the right situation, I'd say he could be a PB caliber QB. He's in the 2nd worst organization when it comes to developing QBs since the Sid Luckman, Otto Graham era. Only the Bears have been worse...and their QB(who similarly had the same type of stupid speeding tickets) appears to be the guy who'll finally break their curse(which sucks, I enjoy the pitiful Bears).
