  1. Sorry that I am unable to link his x post at the moment, but: Yianni: Didn't realize how hard college coaches go after athletes that are already committed, I don't like that at all Rob Koll: You've forgotten your recruiting experience. I vividly recall one particular coach from Happy Valley continuing to pursue you up to the day you signed... and I really don't blame him!
  2. And honestly... how old is Attasuov anyway? (Just looked it up. They claim that he is 25. Wouldn't ne surprised if he was a year or two older)
  3. If I remember, he sold his story. Got paid. Then wasn't happy with the "creative liberties." The movie is generally considered to be excellent. It was critically acclaimed and received five Academy Award nominations. The movie is not my cup of tea, however. I watched it once, and wouldn't care to watch it again. BTW I was granted an audition to be an extra, but it was very last minute and I couldn't make it work with my schedule.
  4. I'm not sure what that person is talking about. However, I do seem to remember that the "leg clinch" at that time was going to complicate things for him, and wondered how they would apply it to Robles.
  5. Limited theatrical release starting 12/6.
  6. Buxton left correct? Sounds like a great landing spot for Bill Bassett! He wouldn't be the first RTC coach/dad.
  7. Or kids could move back to FL and the younger Forrest could move to be nearer big brother. Stillwater HS is already very familiar with this type of transfer.
  8. I don't think any fakery is needed, not just in this case. It seems they are giving medicals away like candy in recent years. (Not implying Chittum is faking)
  9. I'm guessing that when the Bassett's are gone, it is highly possible that the man responsible for growing the program may be gone, too.
  10. Who is in the role as "Guido the Killer Pimp?"
  11. Should never have done that interview where he broke kayfabe!
  12. Yes, his length will not be a strength against guys that much bigger.
  13. Greg has absolutely talked MMA. Alirez has talked MMA. I think his family may own a gym? Bartlett prob going to make a boatload of money in the corporate world, or as an entrepreneur. Never heard him mention MMA, but he may have. I have trouble imagining Yianni as a world beater at 74 kg. I can't see him being big enough or being able to handle that horsepower. Already on 9 surgeries in less than 8 years. And concussion issues.
  14. And somehow that was ok with PSU/NLWC coaches.
  15. Agreed that Calavitta is fishy as heck. What bothers me the most is how cult-like his following is. They always mention that "Coach Cal" won an award as the best math teacher on Earth!
  16. If he pulls this off, he could be nominated for an Oscar!
  17. Dresser may boycott the film for this reason.
  18. Good list, with a couple of thoughts: 1) Parker was just talking about improving his par terre on Bader show. I did hear what Ben said, though... so I doubt he has more than once cycle in him. 2) SVN gets hurt a lot. Badly hurt. Might not be physically cut out for it. Also, has MMA interest, too?
  19. A very "brainy" source says Rutgers will be a finalist. Book it!
  20. Wait! Both steroids and PEDs? That is nuts!
  21. Putin does not approve of this scenario.
  22. "Let me tell you a story about my son..."
