  1. Highly possible... but OK State looked really good that night. I'm disappointed in my Wolfpack this year, but they were able to beat Cornell in a dual and handled Pitt (before yesterday).
  2. It seems like he had 2-3 hard collisions over the course of a week, but people only remember the last one vs the Terps.
  3. OKST looked solid against Iowa, but I don't think they ever looked as good as they looked against NC State about a month or so ago.
  4. Tougher to tell by last name, I'd imagine (unless it is a Sanderson)
  5. Yes. I agree. I just had to look at the situation having been a coach and athlete and now a ref. How can the situation be gamed?
  6. Of course they can look at it, but making this change would lead to tremendous abuse. For instance: What if you put yourself in the dangerous position? What if the wrestler just wants a break and doesn't want to be penalized?
  7. Also interesting is that this same poster took a swipe at Arnold on the thread about Gabe's mental health.
  8. The last several years have been the best years for heavyweight ever. The number of age group world champs and medalists is amazing. In fact, in terms of international accolades, i would say that heavyweight has given us some of the best weight classes ever. (Gable, Kerk, Wyatt, Trumble, Cassioppi, Kueter, Schultz, Feldman, Davison(?))
  9. You could still be right. Just judging by recent years seeding, I can see Hendrickson as 2nd.
  10. The premier program? Not for a while! I bet David Taylor would have won two national titles at NDSU also. Heck... I think he would have won three at NDSU. And what is a natty? A Natural Light?
  11. They absolutely DID underperform. But why take out their best wrestler from the last decade?
  12. Why would you take Spencer Lee out? Take David Taylor out and NLWC has never had an Olympic finalist. But back to the original point: PSU/NLWC has more financial resources.
  13. 2025 or I would have other classics such as Sean O'Day, Austin O'Connor, Shane Griffith, and Bill Kelly.
  14. "Y'know what I mean?!" Anyone want to count 'em?
  15. And appears to still be boinking.
  16. Fantastic choice, along with Patrick Kennedy. I was generally going by highest ranked guy in coaches rankings with an obviously Irish surname. So O'Toole won out at 174 over Kennedy for instance. I prob could cut Spencer Moore due to "Moore" being somewhat ambiguous. Paddy wasn't in coaches rankings, so I unintentionally omitted him. Gallagher could well belong as the 165 entry.
  17. 125 Spencer Moore (UNC)/Cooper Flynn (Minn) 133 Connor McGonagle (VTech) 141 Rich Treanor (AWP) 149 Kaden Cassidy (GMU) 157 Ryder Downey (UNI) 165 Mike Caliendo (lol) (Iowa)/ Noah Mulvaney (Bucknell) 174 Keegan O'Toole (Mizz) 184 Max McEnelly (Minn) 197 Cam McDanel (Neb)/ Mickey O'Malley (Drex) 285 Big Jimmy Mullen (VTech) When possible, I tried to go with the more obvious "Irish surname," trying to stay clear of those that are shared with Scotland and England (boo!)
  18. You may be giving Ham a lot of credit!
  19. I simply cannot allow the chance to name an "All-Irish team" pass me by and only 10 days before the celebration of the patron saint. 125 Spencer Moore (UNC)/Cooper Flynn (Minn) 133 Connor McGonagle (VTech) 141 Rich Treanor (AWP) 149 Kaden Cassidy (GMU) 157 Ryder Downey (UNI) 165 Mike Caliendo (lol) (Iowa)/ Noah Mulvaney (Bucknell) 174 Keegan O'Toole (Mizz) 184 Max McEnelly (Minn) 197 Cam McDanel (Neb)/ Mickey O'Malley (Drex) 285 Big Jimmy Mullen (VTech)
