  1. Yes! I had a bad lunch break yesterday! Lots of fake news !
  2. I was told Otoguru doesn't count
  3. Ha! (good math joke) Zain was supposed to retire, but I think that is now "taking a year off." I was ready to see Nick lee retire, and wouldn't be surprised if he does, but have not seen anything other than him saying he was still going to compete after being hired to coach. I would almost say that him wrestling more as a coach than as a competitor is a bad sign for him to return to competition. Now his wrestling is focused on helping others, instead of himself.
  4. I do have some strong dislike. But it is for the overzealous, hypocritical fans. Cael is the best coach in the USA. I don't think he is a bad person. The more Olympic gold medalists he coaches, the better.
  5. I admitted to getting a lot of this wrong, but you also can't count the guys who are no longer active or who are guests.
  6. Not hate lol. But you are right, I was spitting some alternative facts here! Mea culpa! Terrible post by me. And unlike some, I will not be deleting.
  7. Not sure about "infinite" but yes, better for sure. Just was a major disappointment in the Pan Am qualifier. Will he be taking a year off this year?
  8. I'm taking a year off, too. For about 23 years now.
  9. Well, no... I was arguing about active talent. Not guys who retired, moved to Oklahoma or Texas, or "Taking a year off."
  10. WKN, I was responding to an "other than" argument. I have actually responded to two arguments in two days that started "Other than Spencer Lee..."
  11. Nick Lee does not have better international results than Eierman. See my previous post about continentals, although I was wrong about Lee never having Pan Am success. He just couldn't get it done when it actually mattered. And Eierman was only a bronze! Dake and Snyder, obviously.
  12. Snyder yes. Zain: not currently competing. Nick Lee- no. (Eierman has won a senior Pan Am; Nick Lee not so much...)
  13. Other than Brooks, who is at NLWC with senior level results better than DeSanto, Eierman, and Otoguru?
  14. Highly possible... but OK State looked really good that night. I'm disappointed in my Wolfpack this year, but they were able to beat Cornell in a dual and handled Pitt (before yesterday).
  15. It seems like he had 2-3 hard collisions over the course of a week, but people only remember the last one vs the Terps.
  16. OKST looked solid against Iowa, but I don't think they ever looked as good as they looked against NC State about a month or so ago.
  17. Tougher to tell by last name, I'd imagine (unless it is a Sanderson)
  18. Yes. I agree. I just had to look at the situation having been a coach and athlete and now a ref. How can the situation be gamed?
  19. Of course they can look at it, but making this change would lead to tremendous abuse. For instance: What if you put yourself in the dangerous position? What if the wrestler just wants a break and doesn't want to be penalized?
  20. Also interesting is that this same poster took a swipe at Arnold on the thread about Gabe's mental health.
