  1. Sickos were filming weigh-ins and posting online
  2. I think the NCAA looks at all conference champs as being equal in their formula. Any difference in difficulty should be factored into quality wins.
  3. OK. What do YOU think happened?
  4. They had more time to cut weight, because they were not in the correct are on time. Do we agree? Their opponents were not given the extra time to cut weight, hence they likely did not need as much recovery time. What other rules do you suppose we decide to ignore? These were rules that came into being due to three deaths. Shouldn't they be the most important?
  5. Bikes are so comfortable to sit on!
  6. They weren't in the correct location when they were supposed to be. They know the routine. They were on exercise bikes instead of the appropriate room. Extra time. Then they got extra time to recover before their matches. Why weren't they with their team and coaches? Extra time.
  7. But is the Big 12 official story actually a fact. Air Force was under the impression that they were receiving a forfeit. The story you are repeating could very well be true, but it could also be damage control.
  8. I agree, but there is allegedly a lot of weirdness. Were told to get off the bike. Got off and then got back on. Weigh in areas are pretty serious now. No standing on head. No haircuts. No jogging in place. Etc. The wrestlers and coaches all know this. We got ourselves in a lot of trouble in 97. Rules like this are to ensure that we don't have any severe weight cuts and that everything is on an even playing field. What about the fact that their opponents were told they were receiving forfeits? How about the fact that the wrestlers in question got more recovery time off the scale? Any truth to the lawsuit rumors?
  9. I'm sure it is talked about on the Big 12 thread, but I'm not motivated to sift through all of the posts. What are people thinking/saying about the situation. I am a fan of DT's wrestling and I have never been an Oklahoma State hater, but it really looks like UNI got a bad deal here. I hope the situation doesn't start a bad precedent.
  10. What is your interpretation of the 2nd amendment? Why does it exist? Should it apply to 2025? Should I be allowed to own an AR-15?
  11. Huh? I asked him to show his work, I didn't accuse him of breaking any laws.
  12. Most of them. I'm pretty sure you have your own views on what peoples rights should be, despite the original intent of the Framers and/or Supreme Court rulings. Thoughts on: Citizens United? The 2nd amendment? etc.
  13. I think a lot of it is about enjoying the sport. Also, weight cutting seems to be the #1 risk factor for HEW.
  14. That is a rough looking 62.
  15. The same applies to you, I believe.
  16. Ok, but PSU have had their fair share as well. Most have had great success (not all) but a lot have performed worse in their later years. I think people forget how many transfers PSU has had.
  17. Other than probably Mesenbrink, which current PSU transfers have a chance at performing better in their final year? Is it an Iowa thing, or a 5th/6th/7th year thing? Any chance of you answering the question? OK, looks like you sort of did as I was posting. I think a big problem is that the older guys get beat up.
  18. Now do the regressions of Truax, Dean, and Nagao. Add Kerk while you're at it.
  19. An interesting thing about that person's account is the condemnation of Ryan and tOSU in this situation, but trashing the ref regarding two slam calls in PA states the same weekend. I guess it matters who gets slammed?
  20. Yes, I've heard that girls who wrestled only folk in high school get spiked on their head constantly when they first start to wrestle college freestyle. You get better at defending it when you know it is coming.
  21. Now do Truax, Dean, and Nagao. While your at it, maybe Kerk as well.
  22. How"blown out" was Carter's knee actually? Obviously hurt, no question about it. No surgery ? We have never heard anything. Still quite an accomplishment, but I am certainly curious as to the extent of the injury.
