    Still... the transfer portal is out of control. And he was one of the biggest names and biggest beneficiaries in it's history. Everyone has their own reasons, and all wish for a "perfect world." I tend to really like Dave Dean and Gabe Dean, but this struck me as a bit hypocritical. "The transfer portal is out of control... but it was great for us and a lot of these other kids shouldn't be able to take advantage of it like we did!"

    His brother is one of the biggest transfers in recent years? Arguably one of the biggest individual beneficiaries of said portal. Left the chance to earn an Ivy degree, which would strike many as odd. Not to mention that there seems to be a little bad blood between the programs.

    A person who may or may not live in my household basically gets in-state tuition at his out-of-state school as part of his particular deal. Our local state school would cost him something like $8,000 more.
