Arnold was admitted to the hospital due to mental health concerns earlier this year. I am more than slightly concerned for him after a R16 exit from him.
I want to believe the guy who just wrecked the backside of B1Gs to take 3rd is good enough to not get exploited against the guy who just took 2nd at B1Gs. Big fan of Bouzakis and that match seems more poor coaching than it was Ayala being that much better.
I was long and lanky, but still rarely went above 140lbs, wrestling 134lbs.
Our 150lber would get up over 180lbs and our 158lber was notorious for being lean (genetics). Our 167lber and 177lber on a regular were both well over 200lbs day after NCAAs/big tournaments.
I remember Mark Coleman telling me he was much closer to 250lbs than he was 200lbs night after 1988 NCAAs.
Late 80s/90s were hell for so many of my old friends.
To be clear, he didn't weigh-in for B1Gs either, so he wouldn't have weighed in today.
He posted something nice on Instagram, I believe. Had session 2 not just started I would find it for you, bro.
I don't think it's too much a pull for one of them to go 157lbs, FWIW.
Unless one plans to go 86 KG in the near future, I think 157lbs works fine for one of them as well.
God, please no.
As much of a nuthugger as I am with Facundo, I do not want to hug the same nuts as Minnow at the same time.
I enjoy Rutgers and their tenacity. I don't want to be swordmaster bros with Minnow, though.
