The alleged sexual misconduct following Focus isn't unheard of. A stain is a stain.
Steveson had issues with the fanbase of WWE because of his alleged misconduct. It wasn't his sole reason for failing down that avenue, but it was a hurdle he could not get over.
I would be all for this. ASU has a need at 174 and 197.
Cael Valencia has a year left, although I don't know if he takes it, and he has been wrestling 79 KG (174lbs), so maybe he fills that spot next year for them. That said, I would be for Valencia focusing on MFS (Team Mexico at 86 KG?) or some other route to finish his final year than staying at ASU.
No. It's two weeks prior to the Worlds acclimation camp. We've seen our teams head over a few days in advance or a couple weeks in advance (and everything in between).
A lot depends on location, which is Croatia this year. I can't imagine more than a week, as our USAW has planned around Croatia many times the last cycle or two - unless they head to Poland or Germany, etc. for a team camp prior to Croatia?
Not sure, really. I would assume that we'll know mid-August at the latest.
Happy I finished reading before I was like "LETS WAIT UNTIL FINAL X TO SAY HE IS UNDEFEATED!!"
Are we at the point where Dake is now winning fantasy matches? Wasn't he 0-455, or some ridiculous number like that, in fantasy matches at some point?
I am secretly hoping for Focus to transfer there, or Stewart to transfer there and go 197lbs, then they need Jordan Decatur, Isaiah Powe, Chris Cannon, or Jesse Vasquez at 141 as well as Soldano or Parker dropping to 174lbs and that lineup is SALTY.
I was thinking "Shiiiit... a bunch of folks done hit on this already?' Then I read the prior post, and I was like 'daaaamn he going after cowcards hard!' Then I was like like 'meh... probably didn't mean anything bad by it.' Then I saw your response/post.
Imagine Forrest claiming the 61 KG spot only for Blaze to claim the 65 KG spot.
Cornella wrestled out of his mind, but I can't help but to think he would have had a considerable amount more trouble placing in that U20 65 KG bracket Saturday.
Conel bit doesn't matter. Regardless of were he injured or not injured prior or during, 2020 was cancelled and he wouldn't have been able to wrestle anyways.
Edit: His replacement starter was the oft-injured Shakur Rasheed, though.
It is only silly if we assume that either...
A ) Being the Japanese MFS Seniors Rep is more lucrative than being a NLWC athlete
and/or
B ) He puts world titles over being a student of the sport. He has and will always have the Japanese coaches to learn from. NLWC has proven to be 1 of 1 the last few cycles in the USA.
