  1. I think you’re reading too much into margin of victory/defeat with Allred. But I did have the same thought about McDanel. They basically had Allred, Pinto and Taylor drop a weight to fit him in the lineup and he has not looked great.
  2. I asked in the other thread but what has he done as part of DOGE so far that has enriched himself? I’m sure he probably will and the new EO contradicting a previous EO ending preferencing by prioritizing bringing white South Africans here is something I’m sure that he wanted personally, just not sure if I’ve seen it yet with DOGE (but of course it’s only been a few weeks)
  3. Black people might be worried about someone having access to their personal information that within the last year has said “they were racist before it was cool”
  4. Meh he also sat against Michigan who doesn’t have a good 133, so unless Cael just didn’t want it to fall under the themat/intermat forum definition for ducking AKA only missing one match, I don’t think it was a duck. Pretty dangerous to try to interpret Cael-speak, but I thought the comment of “I don’t know the timetable with what he’s doing” was interesting, possibly suggesting IMO that Cael wanted him to wrestle but Davis didn’t. But of course who knows.
  5. Yes, “my question” that I was referring to was about Davis
  6. I agree with you. Allred was probably being under-rated because of the Glazier loss
  7. No they didn’t. They said it might help participation numbers, particularly at younger ages. I haven’t really seen anything specific showing one way or the other, but I don’t see how it’s possible to have hurt participation. College wrestlers were never the target market for the two piece uniform.
  8. Well to answer my question, no. He says “I would say it’s definitely a precautionary. I don’t know the timetable with him and what he’s doing, could be next week or we’re not sure.”
  9. Are you suggesting it’s not clear that he actually yelled?
  10. The San Jose State volleyball player certainly resulted in an issue this year. Her teammate filed a lawsuit because of it. That said, I do agree that this issue has been overblown (which would include the political theater of having a bunch of little girls standing there while Trump signed the order). But I also agree with what the order did.
  11. Honest question, besides not cancelling his companies’ government contracts, how is he personally benefitting? When he tanks the economy less people will be able to buy electric cars.
  12. I’m surprised you’re still watching after they had someone sing the black national anthem
  13. Looks like mostly Purdue, who sat their 2 best guys (Ramos and Blaze) against top 10 opponents. The two guys Minnesota sat (Salazar and Wells) did not have ranked opponents
  14. Hence my original comment of “what was this about.” Still seems unnecessary IMO unless Andrews did something particularly egregious which I didn’t see
  15. At the end of the clip. It’s 5 seconds long.
  16. Bassett bumped to 156 for the state dual finals (McCort lost) and looked tiny IMO despite getting a major https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14uvzjDhoK/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  17. Any reason given for no Ramos?
  18. Spencer Lee is an announcer now?
  19. Screaming at him mostly. I’m not saying it should be penalized, but seems unnecessary.
  20. What was this about?
  21. Can’t see much here
  22. Lots of conversation on x about this in regards to PSU/Maryland today. I normally defend these guys but they were pretty bad. Classy comment here that also acknowledges that these guys need to do better. Worth noting that PSU was the home team so they supplied the announcers
  23. Speaking of injuries, has Cael given any more insight info what’s going on with Davis? I thought his answer for why he didn’t wrestle against Iowa was “he was just a little banged up.” With him not wrestling this weekend either, seems like it might be more than that?
  24. I agree with influenced. I don’t really agree with “funded,” which you said earlier. As I said earlier I like the idea of DOGE, but I’m nervous if they go too extreme. And hopefully DOGE themselves is ethical also. But I don’t like that Elon has a conflict of interest (billions of dollars in government contracts for his own companies), and now we know they’ve knowingly hired openly racist folks, so some of the judgement could be questioned.
