  1. I was referring to actual kids living in the Fix house that could have accidentally taken some Ostarine
  2. Might be comparable if they left water bottles filled with vodka around. But we all know it wasn’t actually Derek’s, and probably wasn’t even in an unmarked water bottle.
  3. Check Derek Fix’s public Facebook profile
  4. still “teenage” in 2024 https://tulsaworld.com/sports/college/osu/daton-fix-oklahoma-state-wrestling-career/article_62f960f0-e694-11ee-8703-3b464a0bbb4a.html Yet that pales in comparison to what Fix means to his family, especially his younger teenage siblings
  5. Yes you have
  6. Doesn’t Daton have younger siblings?
  7. Wrestlestat only shows him teching an NAIA guy in an open then MFF’ing out. But my apologies, I read it wrong. Last year was his redshirt year. I saw 2 seasons listed at the top and forgot they are showing 2025 already
  8. I got yelled at when I talked about this in a different thread, but I think it’s a fair question to ask. Again I’m on record as saying guys being able to wrestle and get paid or at least get some of their schooling paid for while they get a graduate degree is one good thing about the free Covid year. But I’ve looked around and it seems a decent amount of the higher profile grad transfers are getting “certificates” and/or are enrolled in masters programs completely unrelated to their undergrad. Of course they all already have undergrad degrees from big name schools which is more than most can say, and several already have graduate degrees which is more than even more people can say, and certificate programs can still be beneficial for their resumes, but I would bet there are quite a few of these guys that don’t actually finish the program they’re in. Of course I don’t blame them if they were getting paid to do it. For example, one of the most prominent recent transfers, who even spent 2 years at his second school, is listed on the roster as a “non-degree student.” At “Transfer U,” of their 5 notable transfers this season, they were only enrolled in 2 different programs, one of them being a certificate and the other being a very different field than most of their undergraduate degrees (although as mentioned some of them did already have graduate degrees from their prior school, and yes it is possible they may actually be more interested in this field than their undergrad major). Interestingly, this particular graduate program probably would have been helpful for the “non-degree student” mentioned earlier.
  9. One name I haven’t seen mentioned is Dagen Condomitti, 157 for Oregon State. He was a top 100 recruit but looks like he hasn’t had any D1 matches through his redshirt + redshirt freshman years
  10. Pure speculation here but I see he’s from the East Coast, maybe reunites with Borrelli at American?
  11. Did Derek Fix have any qualifications besides coaching Daton before being named head coach of the Cowboy RTC? Although to be honest, my bigger question is why wasn’t he fired for having PED’s in an unmarked bottle in a house with kids in it, but I digress
  12. I bet there was some smoke to the ASU stuff, I’m guessing he “accepted” their offer or something originally, but then Michigan came in with a better one
  13. The Indianpolis Colts did it in the middle of the season in 2022
  14. Agreed. PSU (Dean, Kerk, Mesenbrink) and to a lesser extent Iowa (Caliendo) seems be the only teams I can think of bringing in transfers to bump R12/AA level guys out of the lineup.
  15. You were right (well only for 1 season). Also a good thread bump of Minnow deleting the evidence for things he gets wrong. I think it’s okay to be wrong sometimes, but he should own it.
  16. Have there been any prominent Russian athletes transfer since the start of the war? If so, have there been any repercussions from Russia?
  17. Because they were attacked first
  18. Yes. So we can probably expect Uguev and Sidakov to not be allowed to compete in the Olympics then?
  19. Flo does not list Uguev at least as entered in the tournament (can’t find 74 at first glance), if their weights are already qualified guessing they weren’t traveling with the team? https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/12399542-what-the-euro-olympic-games-qualifier-means-for-team-usa?utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_source=twitter&utm_term=card.&utm_content=article&utm_campaign=news
  20. What if Flo posted it from their phone?
  21. Yeah I know it’s been stated that AD’s might not really care about wrestling as long as there are no scandals. But if Buffalo cares, Wisconsin probably should.
  22. I enjoyed Shane Sparks interviewing him on his podcast a month or so ago https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/matt-valenti-wrestling-champion-to-athletic-leader-ep-15/id1711209567?i=1000647476206
  23. It’s not that he “needs a 2nd or 4th chance” is it? He just got beat out for the starting spot.
