  1. Probably should throw Arnold-Ferrari-Kueter in the mix as well.
  2. I was following you haha. He wrestles for Cormier at Gilroy so it should not be surprising that he is going to OK State.
  3. With Carrol there, you would assume that he is looking at 197 right?
  4. Starocci is the biggest lock
  5. Big get for John Smith and the Cowboys. Merrill is one of the last key pieces left in the 2024 recruiting class. Projects at 197/HWT. Currently ranked #1 at 220 and top 10 P4P.
  6. Hasn't Rocky always wrestled 92kg internationally? Makes me think that he will stick with 197 for his whole career. If he intends to keep competing at 92kg he would definitely be in the thick of it for making the US World team.
  7. Updated with Olympic results added from 2020 (really 2021). Conclusion: 65 kg is the only weight without a champion winning back-to-back years. 65kg also has the lowest number of wrestlers placing multiple times (4). Of the wrestlers that have placed multiple times, 65kg also has the lowest number of total medals (10) from the multiple time placers. Thus, we can deduce that 65kg has the most parity of all the Olympic weights. 57kg 2018: Uguev, Sanayev, Takahashi/Atli 2019: Uguev, Atli, Dahiya/Sanyev 2020: Uguev, Kumar, Sanayev/Gilman 2021: Gilman, Sarlak, Tsiutryn/Lehr 2022: Abakarov, Gilman, Zanabazar/Micic 2023: Micic, Higuchi, Abakarov/Harutyunyan We have one three-peat champion in Uguev (3 gold). 8. Ramos placed lower than his NCAA counterpart (Brayden Palmer UTC) in the tournament. Has to count for something.

  13. The Iranian was 5th. He lost to Muszukajev and Mamedov. 65kg is deep and these guys all beat each other.
  14. And to do so he beat Tevanyan (2023 world bronze), Bajrang (olympic bronze, world bronze 3x, world silver), Seabass (2023 world silver)
  15. Bubba redshirted in 2019-2020, free covid year 2020-2021, redshirt freshman year 2021-2022, sophomore year 2022-2023, junior year 2023-2024, senior year 2024-2025
  16. Isnt it possible Mendez keeps moving up ? 149 is probably the best college weight for a 65 kg international career
  17. Junkyard dog
  18. No sir, I do not know. Just know that it was Terry from the dual. Of course Minnow was blasting out all kinds of crap out saying that Terry wasn’t at the dual because he was mad at Iowa, mad about Nelson’s gambling situation and he applied for UNC job because the relationship is fractured with Iowa. Then I commented on it and said that it was Terry that was at the dual and not Tom and he deletes all his posts about it. LOL if you are not right, just delete it!
  19. No. I’m pretty sure Tom was not there.
  20. Colton Camacho is pretty solid too. He’s not elite but he’s had some nice wins.
  21. I think Taylor is talented enough to slot in at the 8-12 range. I do think bubba would struggle at 174 but may be a better option than Brown Ton.
  22. He has been on my radar since he waxed Vince Cornella with relative ease at U20 trials.
  23. Kannon Webster went for Illinois tonight and got the 20-5 tech fall. Add Jett Strickenberger to my list of guys to watch this year. He won the Southeast open beating Brandon Kaylor in the finals.
