  1. Had Salazar not taken the weird loss to Jacob Nolan I think people would be talking about him a lot more. He looks very polished and huge for the weight.
  2. 125 - McKee dec Cronin (3-0) 133 - Nagao dec Dryden (6-0) 141 - Hardy dec Bergeland (6-3) 149 - Blockhus maj dec Morton (10-3) 157 - Robb dec Lee (10-6) 165 - Wilson dec Sparks (10-9) 174 - Labriola dec O'Reilly (12-10) 184 - Salazar dec Pinto (13-12) 197 - Allred dec Foy (15-13) HWT - Joles dec Davidson (16-15) Blockhus gets the major for Minnesota to win the dual. Toss-ups at 141, 149, 165, 184, 197, HWT. Should be a great, evenly matched dual.
  3. No one can beat me.. I'm the best there ever was... These fools should stay at home cause they don't stand a chance.... All glory to God
  4. As long as Teske is healthy I would expect for this to continue. Bennett put up a very poor effort against Illinois.

Labbs is definitely not tier 3. You could make an argument (I would) for tier 1 but he's at worst tier 2.
  6. Since the kid is moving with his personal coach I tend to think that the family has more of an income problem than a problem with income.
  7. 45-21 over our rival NDSU Bison. Go Jacks!!
  8. Askren said at one point that Keegan walks around at 180 so it is not farfetched...

Agree to disagree. I think Spencer (I know he just got thrown to his back) is the only lone wolf tier guy this year. Tier 1 125 - Spencer 133 - RBY, Fix, Vito (maybe) 141 - the top 15 guys 149 - Yianni, Gomez 157 - Robb, O'Connor, Andonian (could add more possibly) 165 - O'Toole, Griffith, Carr 174 - Starrocci, Lewis, Labriola, Foca (maybe) 184 - Brooks, Hidlay, Keck 197 - the top 12 guys HWT - Kerk, Parris, Cass
  10. Any chance O'Toole and Mocco switch 165 & 174?

Can you really put Starrocci in his own tier when he went to tie breakers with Mekhi last year and beat him on a riding time point this year? Starrocci is great and certainly the favorite but I am not going to give him his own tier based on those results.

Starrocci is the returning champ and leader of the pack at this weight. Tier 1 includes Starrocci, Labriola & Lewis. Is Foca making a case to enter into tier 1? He was looking like someone who could push for a high podium spot last year before the concussions. This year he has beat everyone put in front of him not named Mekhi Lewis.
  13. He’s definitely propped up by the fact that he beat Cam Amine right after Amine was coming off of an extended leave from injury.
  14. Plott lost to Olmos (Oregon state) 9-4
  15. Not a wrestling topic but my beloved Jackrabbits play for a FCS National football championship this afternoon. Go Big! Go Blue! Go Jacks!
  16. I thought he was going to AA after watching him wrestle Coleman at CKLV. He lost the match 6-5 I think but definitely passed the eye test
  17. Who is better at wrestling close matches with very tough competition but always losing: Michael Blockhus or Jarrett Jacques?
  18. Salazar looked huge in person when SDSU wrestled Minny. He also dismantled a tough young prospect Bennet Berge that night.
  19. Chumbley is going to AA. All that time working out with Deakin is paying off.
  20. At one point in Haines match he takes Model down and begins to work on getting a leg turk in and the ref started counting (like a 5 count to call him for stalling). I thought that was strange as he was actively working for a pinning combo. Guys can sit on an ankle in a Blair ride doing nothing for a full period but we start counting for stall when a guy is actually trying to secure a pinning combo??
  21. RBY is not scoring at Will on Spencer Lee like he did Taylor LaMont. Either way it would be a tightly contested match.
  22. Agreed. I think it should be illegal. We stop arm bars not properly applied and there is much force applied on the bow and arrow than an improper arm bar.
  23. Desanto hasn’t beaten Lee since they were boys, so doesn’t count
  24. Transitive property in reverse: Lee beat DeSanto, Desanto beat RBY = Lee beats RBY

    Flo :(

May be a great first post but it is a horrible take IMO.
