  1. HWT if he gets on Zillmer’s plan!
  2. Only if you apply correctly
  3. It is easy to cherry pick examples of underperformance. Here watch me do it for your beloved Huskers: Jake Sueflohn never placed at NCAA's so Nebraska always underperforms.
  4. Based on the above data from Wrestleknownothing aka WKN....
  5. Again, I'm glad that you think that... but WKN's data shows that Iowa wrestles to seed as a team at NCAA's.
  6. That may be how you want it to play out but when you look at the data provided by WKN, Iowa is basically right on with these seeds. Either slightly higher or slightly lower depending on what data you use to calculate. I am a SDSU 1st fan so I can look at things a bit more subjective in looking at things perhaps. Now, if you ask me to pick AA's for the Jackrabbits... I am surely going to pick more than are ranked to finish as an AA.
  7. Iowa is not that deep, yet on intermat and Flo rankings they are ranked higher than the huskers in 8 out of 10 weight classes lol.
  8. Just so you know you are arguing with a Nebraska super fan. This guy thinks that Nebraska is going to outpace Iowa at NCAA's this year... he is not going to see your points from a rational view.
  9. Yes, the cut is too big for him. He struggles making weight every year
  10. I know Facundo was a very high recruit. Has he beaten anyone of note in his college career yet? SVN looks like he could be the real deal with his win over Kinner. We will know a lot more about his position with the top guys as next duals will be Johnny Lovett, Zach Sherman, tbd, Austin Gomez, Payton Omania , Max Murin, Sammy Sasso... There are plenty of opportunities for him there to cement himself as a contender.
  11. Agreed. If it’s an Iowa wrestler it is fake news but he’s pretty spot on with NJ guys or Lehigh valley guys.
  12. Mineo is claiming Glory is unable to maintain 125 and is moving up to 133.
  13. Bubba is a tough kid but this is probably the highest we see him ranked all year. He has losses to Fish from MSU, Munguia from Kent State, Olguin from OSU and Kharchla from tOSU. He did have a very nice win over Ogunsanya from Columbia at Cliff Keen which is the reason for his jump in ranking. Pinto’s win over Munoz was very impressive but he’s taken 5 losses including being pinned by Cade King and Layne Malczewski. Allred has a nice win over Gavin Hoffman but was beaten handily by Tanner Sloan and Trumble twice. 133 for Nebraska is not likely to score any points at NCAA’s with Dryden or Burwick. Both are more gatekeeper types at the weight. A healthy Cronin will be in the mix to AA with about 10-15 others. Outside of Spencer, Glory, Deaugustino and McKee the weight is pretty wide open. Nebraska has a solid squad but I would pump the breaks a bit.
  14. If I were to rank them on likelihood to AA I would get 3 or 4 iowa wrestlers before a husker.
  15. Warner is a 3x AA and has proved he steps up at NCAA's so it would be very surprising if he did not AA. Group 1 - Alred, Pinto, Cronin, Bubba Wilson Group 2 - Murin, PK, Assad, Brands, Teske Group 2 surely looks more likely to have an AA than group 1 if you take off your corn colored glasses.
  16. Hardy had a great tournament and surely could AA but I would hardly call him a lock. Flo has him at 5th, intermat has him at 10th. This weight class is wide open. I would be surprised if Alirez, Matthews and Woods did not AA but outside of that its all up in the air. Iowa is highly likely to AA Spencer, Woods, Warner, Cass. Decent chance for Murin, PK and Assad. Outside chance for Teske & Brands. Low chance for Siebrecht. Nebraska is highly likely to AA Robb and Labbs. Decent chance for Hardy and Cronin. Outside chance for Alred & Pinto. Low chance for Bubba Wilson
  17. These guys are trolling. Spencer Lee is an absolute stud. ISU backup is a tough kid. Battles for the starting spot and loses out slightly. Beat Teske last season. Spencer looked like a guy who needs some live competition and he got some today. What David Carr did to PK shows how special Carr is. PK beat Peyton Robb (possible favorite at 157 after this week) and Peyton Hall (just had a tough match with O’Toole) to win U23 trials this summer. PK is no joke and Carr made him look ordinary. It’s clearly not a disappoint to not major PK.
  18. He is very good. Will be interesting to see if he continues to build on his wins and get more aggressive throughout the season. Seems like when he decides to go he is hard to stop. Mekhi would be my comp.
  19. Definitely the Hoosier at the bottom of the Big 10
  20. Davidson showed a lot of horsepower on that lift of parris in the first period
  21. Despite the clear technical gap, parris squeaks out a 12-5 decision.
  22. I think you are equating a wide array of attacks with superior technique. Parris has elite hand fighting and positioning. Are you going to see Parris or Cass tilting guys or using a lot of slick takedowns!? No, but they have mastered the techniques that they use. If Hendrickson is the technical master you are claiming, he would beat these top guys. He is a large man that surely looks to have plenty of horsepower.
  23. No. Parris is a better all around wrestler. So are Kerk and Cass.
  24. Unless Hendrickson made a significant leap from last year he is going to struggle with the top big 10 heavy’s. He lost to Orndorf and Lance last year who are significantly behind Parris, Kerk and Cass. Parris is an explosive athlete. All state linebacker in high school who has recruited to D1 for football.
  25. Call me a homer but I think we upgraded going from Bono to Hahn. Hoping that he can keep building the program up. He’s doing a great job developing the talent that we have.
