  2. Looking for tickets to Big 12 Championships if anyone has any available. Thanks
  3. Zach Braunagel can beat anyone on any given day. He has wins over two AA's from last season this year. He also take loses that he shouldn't...
  4. Tanner Sloan is fun to watch. It is also a treat to watch athletic heavyweights that can score points so Parris, Kerk, Cass, Davison, Hendrickson deserve mentioning.
  5. Pitzer is officially redshirting.
  6. Except of course Lee is great on his feet and good on bottom
  7. Not sure how that was not a takedown for Amos in the first period.
  8. I’m happy to be wrong on that one!
  9. Weight class is a bit of a mess. Amine beat Hamiti, Hamiti beat PK, Facundo beat Amine
  10. No, that would be John Smith.
  11. Sounds silly to stop a legitimate scoring position because you feel bad for the kid being turned.
  12. Jax also beat Brett Ungar (Cornell) 7-5 who is ranked at 125
  13. This is a great podcast. Just listened to the one with Stephen Abas.
  14. I was thinking about Yianni as second best ever so mainly putting his titles up against Dake and Stieber. You are correct and it is fair to compare him to Spencer. I would consider Spencer to have the more impressive NCAA career because of his bonus rate but can see how a person would pick Yianni. Dake's titles are over - Montell Marion (2x finalist), Frank Molinaro (NCAA Champ, 2x finalist, 4x AA), Derek St. John (NCAA Champ, 2x Finalist, 4x AA), DT (2x Champ, 4x finalist) Stieber's titles are over - Jordan Oliver (2x Champ, 3x finalist, 4x AA), Tony Ramos (NCAA Champ, 2x finalist, 3x AA), Devin Carter (NCAA Finalist, 3x AA), Mitchell Port (2x finalist, 3x AA)
  15. But the finals wins for Yianni over Meredith, McKenna and Lovett are not nearly as impressive impressive as the others.

  17. Any recommendations for good college wrestling podcasts?
  18. I’ll say Lewan beats Seibrecht and Kennedy beats Amine for the same final score.
  19. Is there news on Pitzers redshirt?
  20. Fair enough. In that case, I would think the list should be 6 deep... But I would be good with Tanner Sloan winning it as well.
  21. Nino and Labriola are undefeated. Maybe they deserve a HM spot?
  22. My takeaway is that the Olmos-Plott was an outlier
  23. Yep. People talk about Warner needing to put on muscle, transform his body, etc.. But he actually has one of the biggest cuts on the Iowa team. He is a tall guy with thick legs. The talk of him needing to put on muscle has always been silly. Have you ever watched a Warner match and thought he did not have the horsepower to compete with the top 197 pounders?
  24. Gus

    NU vs UI

Yes, except for when Liam was beat by Ethan Berginc and when he was majored by Caleb Smith. He is a senior in his 7th college season with 1 career win at NCAA's. I think its fair to question whether he will be able to keep up this hot streak he is on.
  25. In my opinion, Chumbley and Fisher would be overachieving as R12 guys. Chumbley looked much better earlier in the year
