141 & 184 should both be good matches. We should learn a lot about Hardy, Siebrect and Pinto in this dual.

Very tough kid. His 13-12 loss to Gross at World Team Trials put him on my radar as someone to take serious. It will be interesting to see how he stacks up against the top 3 guys (RBY, Fix, Vito).

Who is the lowest ranked wrestler currently that you would not be shocked to see making the NCAA Finals? I listed a few examples below. Using Intermat Rankings of course. Pinto is a solid young wrestler but will need to make a fairly big leap in the off season to be considered a title contender in my opinion. It is going to be a battle for him to make the podium this year with top 5 pretty likely to AA in Brooks, Hidlay, Keck, Coleman & Romero. That leaves 3 remaining AA spots for Bolen, Munoz, Loew, Salazar, Assad, Finesilver, Pinto, Kane, Wittlake, etc.. I think Lenny will be on the outside looking in this year.

On the 2 & 2 when pinto granby'd out all that is required is for him to be returned down to the mat because Salazar had control in the rear standing position. Very similar to Max Dean vs Ethan Laird earlier in the year. It is a dumb rule that I hope they look into changing in the offseason.

Don't forget the loss to Sahm AbdulRassaq. Pinto is a solid redshirt freshman but will obviously need to make a big leap to challenge for a title (unless you are watching through corn colored lenses).

Ybarra has been wrestling 133 as has Teske. Neither would have the time to descend down.

They do a lot of ACC matches. They always do a great job.

Carlson has been up and down this year. I think he’s healthy now and has been looking tough. Him and Hardy went to OT with Hardy winning last month. Match went to OT with Hardy getting riding time by a couple seconds.

Agree that they all looked good. Cornella seems to be rounding into form and will be a problem at NCAA’s. I would not count out my guy Clay Carlson either. Allen Hart, Swiderski and Ryan Jack should all push the top guys.

Salazar has been turning guys like crazy with tilts all year. Probably part of the strategy with Pinto. Huskers looked very good tonight.

He certainly seems to be a big upgrade over Dryden. Nagao is a tough kid and Burwick was right there with him. Bet he will be icing those shoulders tonight.

Had Salazar not taken the weird loss to Jacob Nolan I think people would be talking about him a lot more. He looks very polished and huge for the weight.

As long as Teske is healthy I would expect for this to continue. Bennett put up a very poor effort against Illinois.

Labbs is definitely not tier 3. You could make an argument (I would) for tier 1 but he's at worst tier 2.
