  1. If I were to rank them on likelihood to AA I would get 3 or 4 iowa wrestlers before a husker.
  2. Warner is a 3x AA and has proved he steps up at NCAA's so it would be very surprising if he did not AA. Group 1 - Alred, Pinto, Cronin, Bubba Wilson Group 2 - Murin, PK, Assad, Brands, Teske Group 2 surely looks more likely to have an AA than group 1 if you take off your corn colored glasses.
  3. Hardy had a great tournament and surely could AA but I would hardly call him a lock. Flo has him at 5th, intermat has him at 10th. This weight class is wide open. I would be surprised if Alirez, Matthews and Woods did not AA but outside of that its all up in the air. Iowa is highly likely to AA Spencer, Woods, Warner, Cass. Decent chance for Murin, PK and Assad. Outside chance for Teske & Brands. Low chance for Siebrecht. Nebraska is highly likely to AA Robb and Labbs. Decent chance for Hardy and Cronin. Outside chance for Alred & Pinto. Low chance for Bubba Wilson
  4. These guys are trolling. Spencer Lee is an absolute stud. ISU backup is a tough kid. Battles for the starting spot and loses out slightly. Beat Teske last season. Spencer looked like a guy who needs some live competition and he got some today. What David Carr did to PK shows how special Carr is. PK beat Peyton Robb (possible favorite at 157 after this week) and Peyton Hall (just had a tough match with O’Toole) to win U23 trials this summer. PK is no joke and Carr made him look ordinary. It’s clearly not a disappoint to not major PK.
  5. He is very good. Will be interesting to see if he continues to build on his wins and get more aggressive throughout the season. Seems like when he decides to go he is hard to stop. Mekhi would be my comp.
  6. Definitely the Hoosier at the bottom of the Big 10
  7. Davidson showed a lot of horsepower on that lift of parris in the first period
  8. Despite the clear technical gap, parris squeaks out a 12-5 decision.
  9. I think you are equating a wide array of attacks with superior technique. Parris has elite hand fighting and positioning. Are you going to see Parris or Cass tilting guys or using a lot of slick takedowns!? No, but they have mastered the techniques that they use. If Hendrickson is the technical master you are claiming, he would beat these top guys. He is a large man that surely looks to have plenty of horsepower.
  10. No. Parris is a better all around wrestler. So are Kerk and Cass.
  11. Unless Hendrickson made a significant leap from last year he is going to struggle with the top big 10 heavy’s. He lost to Orndorf and Lance last year who are significantly behind Parris, Kerk and Cass. Parris is an explosive athlete. All state linebacker in high school who has recruited to D1 for football.
  12. Call me a homer but I think we upgraded going from Bono to Hahn. Hoping that he can keep building the program up. He’s doing a great job developing the talent that we have.
  13. Hall’s flexibility and rubber knees make him a tough out for anyone.
  14. We definitely look much better than we did against Minnesota last week. If only Sloan could have gotten the job done…
  15. No 1 seed for Colton at NCAA’s this year
  16. Foca takes it to Ethan Smith. 3 takedowns to win 8-4
  17. Mr Gator Bacon!
  18. Orndorf is an all American. UNI 157 is a solid wrestler but hasn’t sniffed AA status.
  19. Biggest upset of last round was probably Orndorf going down to Gordon of UNI.
  20. Is it just me or does Latona look huge at 133? hard to believe he made 125 last year.
  21. Deaugustino just forfeited out to Jordan of SDSU. Looked like he pulled a groin...
  22. Valencia likes to spend time on his back.
  23. Hearing rumors that 125 and HWT for ISU may be out.
  24. 133, 149, 157 and 174 all have a lot of depth. A bit surprising to see Cole Mattin pull the 1 seed at 141.
  25. He looks pretty athletic here taking out freshman stud Jackson Arrington in Super 32 Finals.
