Well, crime in DC has been decreasing for several years, so....no. They also have lots of FBI agents there. That will make a difference, but theyre being pulled from other places, so it isnt necessarily the right thing. I'm talking specifically about the military forces. They're being pulled from their full time jobs and taxpayers are paying a lot for it. I'd like to know what my tax dollars are going toward here.

Horrible idea, in general. It may sound great to somebody simple minded and vindictive but ya gotta think it through. Parents don't always have control over what kids do. Kids commit crimes for a variety of reasons. To say it's always due to bad parenting is pure ignorance plain and simple. A lot of these parents are doing the best they can and actually doing a great job. Go ahead and do it if parents obviously did something negligent but to just be able to apply it to everything and anything is stupid and will likely make situations worse in many cases.
