  1. I would assume that is in the instance of it being found as a masking agent.
  2. It could be a different instance of DHEA use but on the USADA website that last instance of a DHEA ban since 2023 was posted on 6/18/2025 and it was a 4-year suspension. I feel like we would know if that was Brooks just interesting.
  3. Incredible higher. Just a great guy, coach, and technician. I think its great for recruiting as well. Lehigh valley has always been incredible in PA but with the emergence of stellar and Faith Christian its only gotten better I think this helps them keep more kids home.
  4. I remember J'den having some serious mental health struggles when he was in college as well so perhaps that is the best situation for him. I really do not care what he does on the mat just hope he gets that sorted out.
  5. Will share the post when I get a chance, but Ben successfully went through his double lung transplant, incredible news!
  6. Beyond him being a team USA guy not a huge fan so by all mean dunk on him. He is either a cheater or a moron or both. We are relegated to bronze at best if somehow Azarpira,Sadulaev,Taz are all on the same side now which is unfortunate but hopefully someone young emerges.
  7. I believe @shiraz321 said they are now intending on competing at worlds. The Iranian guys I follow on twitter have not indicated otherwise.
  8. No but most athletes that have a platform have a few pictures that circulate of them in a cast/sling/in the hospital/rehabbing when they do something that puts them out for an entire year.
  9. He gained like 20lbs of tissue from 23-24 year olds while cutting wait for over half the year and claims he does not weight train. He then proceeded to take the following year off without showing any proof of surgery. Not to be a conspiracy theorist but that’s a lot of smoke.
  10. oh perhaps not then. That was only if you were bringing in one of those guys that almost exclusively wrestled folk and even then is far removed from that. I think its a hard sell that if Justin Gaethje was wrestling Zain that he would not get turned 4 times in 25 seconds even with a few months of prep time.
  11. I agree, Submission underground use to caveat matches between MMA and BJJ guys not allowing them to use holds below the waste. I am wondering if there is any way something of that nature could be implemented to make the matches more even. Perhaps no turns or just once turn from a takedown.
  12. when I was deeply invested in MMA there was a pretty large contigent that wanted Lance in the UFC around the time he won the million-dollar tournament in the PFL. I think there will be people that tune in to watch him. Frankie edgar, Clay guida, Jon Jones, Aljo, Nickal, Usman, Covington, Gaethje, Pico are probably the premier names you are looking for. Obviously the dagestan contingent but those guys wont even do submission grappling stuff so I am not sure how feasible that is.
  13. People being caught up on the figure of money in items which may have been stolen out of all of this is really throwing me off.
  14. Oh, the irony if the most decorated guy in the program's history was to be the one to send it crashing down.
  15. one of my favorite matches from when I was a kid was when Ben wrestled Quentin wright.
  16. I think the concept is good. Nostalgia for wrestling fans and guys that have garnered an MMA fanbase. It's a good way to get more eyes until the league is a bit more established. I also think the timing of the first event probably makes it a little harder to get any international guys or even most of our world teamers because they all probably leave for camp shortly after.
  17. This has been a thing in Ohio for a long time. I am pretty sure both Stieber's did the same thing. I think the prevalence of social media have just made it more widely known. As someone who did not hit puberty until I was going into my senior year it would have been very beneficial. Ultimately, I do not think it gives you an advantage when you get to college for most guys it probably flattens out their growth curve sooner.
  18. https://uww.org/article/budapest-ranking-series-2025-entries-freestyle https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/14331600-2025-budapest-ranking-series-tournament-entries-mens-freestyle 57kg: Lilledahl and RBY are our American guys (I need that match) in there way will be Bazarganov from Azerbijan, UULU from Kyrgyzstan, Tsukaev from serbia and pavlov from Russia. 61kg: American guys Forrest, Silva and Shawyver both representing puerto rico. We could see Jax vs Suda which would be absolutely awesome. Suda is Japans rep and probably the biggest threat to whomever we send this ranking series is after Jax's final x series with Vito so could be a world final preview. Tairybek uulu from Kyrgyzstan is probably the other big hitter here. 65kg: No americans repping USA here Seabass is going and will get some tough matches. Tevanyan and dudaev are probably the most notable but I am interested to see how Abdullah toprak is. I think he will be Stanichs toughest match at u20's. (Colin realbuto is also competing) 70kg: No PJ at 70 but we will have James green, Gomez, and Voinovich. Musukaev, Kemertelidze, Aoyogi, Heybatov, Kaprynov are the heavy hitters here. I think Austin has a good shot of knocking off 1 or 2 of these guys but if he can run this field he is a gold medal threat. Aoyogi is probably the favorite here but if any of Kaprynov,Gomez,Heybatov took it I do not think it is a shock at all. 74kg: This weight is nuts David carr is going. Bayramov, Takahashi (beat mitchell at u23's), Valiev, Salkazonov (beat carr a few months ago pretty sound), Kaipanov and Khaniev. Valiev is obviously the favorite but I am super excited to see what Carr,Takahashi and Kaniev can do as the younger guys in the field. 79kg: Levi and Michael labriola are the two americans here but Labs is representing puerto rico which is cool they truly are US south at this point. I am not as familiar with the guys at this weight. Japans guy lost to Wick 8-0 so Levi should smoke him. Kougiomoustidis notably gave dake some really tough matches a few years ago, I think this is his first venture up to 79kg so that would be a great litmus test. Yergesh has been relatively pedestrian on the senior seen but he does have a win over Starocci at u23's a few years go. 86kg: This weight will be fun we have Zahid going. Kadi is the first name that pops out. Dhizoev and Zahid met this year and it was a 8-0 win for zahid. Bagaev will be a good test for Zahid as well. The name that really interest me is Ali Savadkhoui, that is the guy that beat JB at the world cup back in 21 or 22. 92kg: Trent going here and really should get a shot at the guys he is going to need to beat at worlds. Nurmagomedov, Karugliev, Abakarov are all here. 97kg: no kyle 125kg: no wyatt sorry for getting lazy at the end @Jon_Kozak how did I do did I miss any heavy hitters?
  19. Have to wonder how being with JB all week for the Alliseeisgold camp is playing into this process. JB seemed to really enjoy his time in stillwater and is obviously not the biggest PSU fan. Bo also has a camp in stillwater in the next few days.
  20. Oh yes I saw che posting clips of him on twitter he seems super skilled. He looked like a kid still though so I wonder how he fairs physicality wise. 70kg looks super fun if all the guys on your article end up going intersting if Kaprynov of Eltemirov can break through. I always root for ganishov at 74kg as well because it gives Keegan transitive wins from 2023 u23's.
  21. Is mehkitkhanov your pick with Mongush not competing? Yavbatirov Is very good I am intersted to see how he does.
  22. His infatuation with breaking news before Ben's wife does is rather insane.
  23. Is mongush looking for an exemption as well? He seems to be far and away better than Pavlov now Imo.
  24. I think it's hard to dehydrate yourself to that extent two days in a row, but I could be wrong. I thought Amouzad wrestled really well at the PWL he seemed to lose his head after losing that challenge which I thought was a super questionable call from the angle I could see at least which resulted in him giving up the challenge point and then getting over zealous and getting shucked by for 2 and 2.
  25. Mamadov not being in the field certainly helps his chances. He seems to have developed a really good series when guys are in either sitting the corner or going chest wrap. However, I still think he is very volatile so I would probably take the field over him. I still think Amouzad is the best guy in the world if he can learn to control his weight or if that is even possible for him.
