purely an observation and I am sure just a coincidence, but its sort of funny that Herring and Jax make commitments and go on to have the best performances of their lives (to PSU and OKST respectively) and Bo commits to Iowa and takes his first age level domestic loss in almost 2 years.

He missed weight day 2.Kinda shocked he entered at 61kg since hes an AWA guy Ben feels like a big picture dude and that kind of cutting weight does not seem to align with that.

Stanich beats bassett 5-2 Duke beats Robideau 8-3 (he looked really good I think Robideau could push to AA next year)

1. Jax/Marcus: Jax jumped levels which is insane to say because he was already so good. Marcus won the last one it was 8-1 really 4-1 yolo lat drop by jax at the end. Jax obviously is much better than he was then but I cant say he beats Marcus with any confidence. 2. PJ/Dee: Slight lean to PJ but not enough to separate them. 3. Bo: I don't think he is as good as these guys he just does not have the same body of work against elite guys.

Cowboy RTC puts Forrest,Mckenna,Hamiti,Valencia,Hendrickson in the finals NLWC puts Lilledahl,Messenbrink,Dake,Snyder They only hit head to head at 86kg so it is possible that these two RTC's hold 8 of the first 12 (spencer and vito already there) spots in final X

Mess needs to improve his baseline defense to win medals at the senior level. Feels like how takahashi exploited him is still very there.

USA wrestling taking over bracketing and the bout board may have set wrestling back 10 years.

If Raney can wrestle 125 in college (I doubt it) he is going to be a freaking problem. I actually worry we may lose them to greco or at least they wont be all in for folk and free.

I think one thing worth noting is Pj weight in at 172.0 on 1/25 this year for a tournament. Obviously he is getting down to 70kg so he was not cutting to to make 170 +2. He is a true senior though so I do wonder how easy it will be for him to make 157 week after week next season. That being said I do agree if he wants to go next year he will be the guy.
