if you use the transitive property of his game with genos brother from cadets, Elijah would be in the running to win a u20 title this year. I think his style is going to be really hard for most 92/97kg guys to deal with but I have probably watched less of him than either brother so its hard to say for me.

Outside of the Dee match everyone exceeded my expectations. Facundo nearly scored 2-3 more times on the guy he wrestled and if he was not giving up 15lbs he definitely would have. I know nothing about swiderski or Merills competitors but they both made easy work of them.

oh man i thought ariah was going into 10th grade. Regardless I hope they stick it out hes kinda jacked for a rising freshman holy crap.

I think injuries were part of it and I dont think he could beat Ungar. Greg seems like the type of guy that having a feel for helps a lot and Ungar is so stingy and inactive on his feet I would imagine greg could not get much going and then probably had issues on bottom. Hope nothing but the best for him this year also excited to see what Elijah can do I think he has a really high ceiling with the way he wrestles for his size.

To the spratley conversation. Its hard for me to see him beating Luke I think both have improved similarly however luke has killed him in freestyle when they have wrestled it seems like a very hard matchup for spratley.

Tough to imagine him doing much at the higher levels if he cant go 4 minutes. Really similar to Zare when hes fresh though. Iran puts 2 in the finals 2 still going for bronze USA puts 2 in the finals Burnett still alive for Bronze. edit Barari still alive at 55kg Iran still has all 5 guys from day 1 alive.

Iran goes up 5-0 in about 40 seconds India outscores him 15-2 to close the match 15-7 winner.

sucks for stewart but glad zangiev lost was really crunch down on the underhook side on his throw by attempts and acted like a baby after the match great win for the ukranian. Irans guy is a freak.

kikinou gets it done questionable white paddle on the grounded call on the edge score wise it would've been last 2 for Kikniou still but could've changed match tactics a bit great match by both guys.

Okonogi is super impressive reminds me of amouzad not as heavy with the hooks but always has two hands on the mat.

Boustani gets it done. Did not wrestle a good last 60 seconds but seemed more of the moment got to him than fatigue should be a great final.

really hope missou can keep the mills boys I think both will be there with a year or two of Mendoza that will be a great 1,2,3 mills into finals 7-2

Mills up now Iran puts 4 of 5 in the semis really impressed by all the guys I saw really like this Boustani kid definitely looks like he will grow into a 65 at some point if not bigger.

Mills still to go. Kikinou and Burnett in the semis Taylor lost in the r16 Stewart lost in the quarters to a very impressive russian 10-4. Got stepped over looking for a lace seemed to be the big difference maker. I expect him to get pulled back in. Iran has the ability to still put 4 in the semis their 80kg guy looks very good, Kikinou wrestles an Iranian in the semis.

definitely not picking him to be a champ but I think he could AA. He has beaten Noto,Gallagher,Seymour in the past. I think Greg is also a guy that could get on the podium he just never seemed to develop a ton of offense besides his boot scoot but I know his health has always been an issue.

People on twitter seem to be hyper fixating on the lockett loss but Doucet beat a guy that has been an olympian and was semi competitive with snyder and Ghasempour. Ramirez beat the only guy to go 6 with Lee at the olympics last year. Facundo bumped up like 15lbs to beat a u23 Asian champ and I think it was a good win for Casey as well. There are some really special things happening in Stillwater.

Feng is good u23 silver at 79kg 2024 olympian at 74 lost to rassadin 7-4 did not have a great asian championship probably not ideal for Dee but I'm guessing he was quite a bit smaller.

Ronnie ramirez beats lee's arch enemy Zou 4-3 thats a crazy freaking win for the kid. Zhou was bronze at Asians this year and notably lost to lee 3-2 at the olympics and 9-7? at the OG qualifier. Feng beat lockett 14-3.
