I went with 2017. Jesse makes 2023 an enticing choice but that was not near peak of his powers Jesse. I feel the same way about JO in the 2010 bracket. 2017 I believe had the most future world team members as well with 4.

Wyatt can compete with any of the top guys barring maybe Zare but his style lends him to giving up points and if he finds himself in a hole against a stingy european I think that could be trouble. I think USA is in an incredible spot for 2027/2028 maybe even 2026 but I believe we have 7 guys who have not competed at senior worlds and its just hard to have crazy expectations for them because for the most part we do not do a good job at competing often overseas. edit: I am largely basing how I feel about Javan on his match against Suda which I honestly think he should have won and I think Suda is the on paper #2 going into worlds.

Iran feels like they have 4 legit gold medal threats without having to go through a ton of mental hurdles. Ghas,Zare,Firouz,Amouzad And I think they will have a great shot at medaling at 61,79,97. USA has 1 gold favorite as you mentioned and 4 guys with shots imo at 61,74,86,92 but I do not think any of them would be on paper favorites and will need to wrestle the best they ever have. Of those 4 weights I think there is a chance all but zahid do not medal as well. I also do not expect a medal at 65,70 (although Kaipanov going 74 helps),79 and I would not be shocked if Snyder does not medal I think he is clearly behind Azarpira,Taz,Sadulaev now.

This is probably USA's best u20 team ever but I think Iran is clearly second and they probably have the best team going into seniors this year.

I do not think Ruiz beats levi, but that weight has positioned itself to be a lot more entertaining than I thought it was going to be with how Facundo and Ruiz have looked. Now that being said only one guy is on the senior world team and that's Levi so maybe too much is being made about Ruiz and Facundo.

I agree with that It was more to the new rankings that got posted today. To me at this point being u20's occur when most schools have started already this would have been the time to remove. Its also nitpicking on my end and something likely 99% of people do not care about at all, I just like to project out team dual concepts/super 32/whos'1 so I have to dig a little deeper. Part of the reason I am a bit more bullish on sammy is because I think our 1,2 at 57kg could have some issues that make the sub optimal by 2028. Now I hope that is not the case because I want the best possible team, however I think Lee's injury history likely makes him age a bit differently than most guys at 29 and I really think its going to be a tough pull for Luke by 2028. That being said Sammy is not my pick and I hope he is not our rep because I think that would likely mean the other two guys are compromised but I think there is a world where he is very competitive with those guys for the reasons I mentioned above.

I personally don't have an issue with keeping the rankings until after the open/trials and even Fargo but why are guys that are a week or two out from starting college classes still ranked? It's a very silly thing to get upset about I know but I like to see the ranking landscape and its hard to do so when 14 kids at each weight are not even high schoolers anymore.

Nitrogen retention and upregluation in MTOR to extreme degrees is not generally conducive to good cardio however there are a ton of peptide either injectable or nasal inhalants that can help improved your aerobic capacity and mitochondrial function as well as EPO. Not saying any of the training lab guys are doing so I am sure they leverage whatever they can within the rules just playing devils advocate.

was a bit shocked to see Dreshaun tech Hopke. Dreshauns ceiling seems insane however I am not sure he is completely all in on wrestling yet, and his shoulder injury history concerns me a bit.

Is Sammy sanchez a factor at 57kg by 2028? (lean here is hes not good enough to go with Luke or Spencer but he could be better than knox and co by then) Is Jayden James a factor at 74kg by 2028? (as @Wrasslin pointed out there still appears to be a gap between him and Dee and I would imagine there is a gap between Dee and carr/MM so I am going to say a factor in the sense that hes there and gives guys tough matches but not making a team.)
